1 year on

Well its been a year and thought I would write an update. Was it worth it. I am really not sure. I do have eyelids and they look ok (there are some minor issues but no one has perfect eyes) but the under eye wrinkles are quite bad. Except for losing the under eye circle there is no difference for all the hard work of healing it actually seems worse. I am going to change my its worth it to not sure. I still have problems with cream. If it gets into my eye from putting it on my face it feels like there is something in my eye all day. And the right one still weeps at times. Could be the cream. I don't have any problems with macadamia oil so use that now.

Almost 6 months

Well its almost 6 months. Been meaning to update but I fluctuate between worth it and not sure. The under eye area has lost the delineation that I disliked but its still quite wrinkled. It has taken ages for the upper Bleph to settle. And god help me if I get any face cream in the eye its like I have something growing there. All in all my eyes are definitely better. The have relaxed and they are generally the same size as before I think. They were definitely smaller after the surgery. Dr Pongsakorn did say minimum of 6 months and its true. So I will keep waiting and see how they are after 12 months. You can still see a faint scar on the right side where he went wide on the incision. But makeup covers that and it is fading. The scars no longer hurt and the under eye ones have disappeared. After looking at my skin in these photo's I think I will attempt laser but will have to take time off work and I am not sure when. Will see about cost as well.

3 month update

Well its been 3 calendar months now and time for an update. Everything is settling down. The scars under the eye are almost gone or settled. You can still feel a slight scar but nothing to worry about and you can barely see the under eye scars. The scars above a still noticeable if looked for and you can feel the incision lines. I am fairly happy but the looseness under the eyes is a bit disappointing as I was hoping for a bit tighter look. I also have these fine vertical lines that radiate from the inner corners of the eye. Still a bit of swelling under the right eye. The doc said 3-6 months so will keep waiting. Everything looks good with makeup except the rest of my face could probably do with a tighten up to match. :) I still have issues with weeping in the right eye. Wish that would stop.

I still stand by my review of Dr Pongsakorn I think he did a great job, its my age that is against me and saggy skin. The under eye is definitely better than before as while I still have loose skin and wrinkles I don't have the pronounced under eye circle that plagued me before. So happy that is gone. I will attempt to age gracefully now unless I change my mind and go for some skin laser. Looking into that but seems pretty hectic.

So far he has replied quickly to my emails and has given some good advice and has been very reassuring. I am a bit nervous but felt better after contact. Last visit to Dr before I return. To Australia. Rating unchanged. Thinking of coming back for a tummy tuck. :) Have decided to update to not sure its worth it as per my last post.
