I'm writing this to help you ladies who are researching for a breast augmentation.

When I was in that phase I could only find one review with proper details and it helped me make my decision overnight because I saw results and my stats matched. I researched for only 2 months before deciding because I found that and it helped my so much in understanding and putting my mind at ease. Hopefully my review will help others too.
I got my breast augmentation in Phuket international aesthetics centre(PIAC) in January 2014 with DR Veerawat. I didn't go through any company I just contacted the hospital myself and they were 100% professional from start to finish. I sent them pics and what I was looking for and they sent quotes depending on your shape and breast tissue and what is best for you. Mine were -round 130,000thb and -tear drop 160,000thb this will be diff for everyone. I had already decided I wanted round implants because of the shape, because I had nothing on my chest and was always wearing push up bras(pushing up skin and minimal breast tissue) I knew I wanted the height of round implants at the top and not the sloped effect of teardrop, once they are not too big they won't look too fake.
I had a consultation booked with Dr Veerawat the day before surgery and also had paid 30,000thb before going(they will refund if your don't go ahead), PIAC sent a car free of charge to collect me(confidential) and also dropped me back to my hotel after(& my friend with me). The plastic surgery centre is new and lovely interior, all of the staff are amazing and will do tumbles for you if u asked. In the consultation Dr Veerawat who spoke perfect English explained everything in detail to me and took photos and drew the shape on my skin. I could ask any questions I liked here.I then put on a sports bra they had and tried a few diff sizes and both round and tear drop and also tried a t-shirt on over to see what they looked like with clothes. I decided on 375cc mentor round implants. They would be placed dual plane (half under half out of the muscle) and Inframammary incision(under the breast) so they would look like a 350cc when in. Generally the muscle will take flatten some of the volume. I wanted mine to be there but not in your face. I was scheduled to have surgery at 9.30am the next morning and was told to fast after 6 that evening. I paid the remainder of the money and had blood tests and blood pressure taken & I left feeling excited and terrified.
The next morning I woke and got my bag ready (a button up flow thin cotton shirt, an elastic waist skirt, shorts, and my iPod,iPhone, charger, deoderant etc)
I already had my underarms waxed the day before In case I couldn't raise my arms the week after. The car collected me (I went to the surgery alone) and i was brought to the aesthetic centre, 4 girls showed me to my room took my blood pressure and settled me in, changed me into surgery clothes, at this stage I was soooooo nervous. I tried to relax by looking around my lovely room, it had a balcony a place for a friend to lay or sleep, flat screen TV, a fridge with munchies for after, tea coffee, the bathroom had mini deoderant, talc, shampoo, toothpaste and brush. I lay down and I started to calm, after a while the nurses came in and transferred me to a moving bed and started to wheel me down to surgery, this is where I really felt the fear it lasted for 5 mins and I was terrified. But when the anesthetiser gave me some relaxing medication & anaesthetic and I slowly drifted off, next thing I knew I was awake and I was being wheeled back to my room, and it was done. I slept for hours and was brought food 3 or 4 times in the day, I was checked constantly. I had my friend there at this stage. I was allowed to go home the next day and was refunded 2000thb which I over paid and was given medication and cream for the scars.(which are small) after 7 days I was taken back to have the stitches removed.

I was lucky I had no pain through it all even after and I was able to sit up and walk around and go to the beach the day after, I was careful not to tire myself out. Again everyone is different. I got measured 3-4 weeks later and I measured 34dd(10dd)and in some bras now I'm a 34d(10d)

I have never been happier, it was worth every cent if not double, I would recommend it to everyone even considering it.
I hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf! Did you travel far to get your surgery in Thailand? Glad you were able to bring a friend along. How did the rest of your family and friends react to your surgery? Congratulations!

I travelled from Australia, not through a company tho. I didn't tell many people I wanted to keep it private, I did it for me and not everybody else.

Oh please do post photos up here :) Also, Dr V is known to strongly recommend tear drop implants. Like you, I was recommended both during the photo assessment but I'd prefer round ones. Did he push for tear drop during your face to face consultation or did you just tell him you wanted round and he agreed? I'm kind of worried I won't be able to get the look I want! Thanks again in advance.

He did say tear drop would be best for the natural look, but I told him I wanted the height on the top, I wanted boobs that looked full without a push up bra, I wanted to be able to wear no bra and have the fuller look on top, the sloped look wasn't what I was after. Then he said that round was better. I'm sooo happy I stuck with my decision, I have seen the tear drop on a girl I know that had the same stats, she also got 375 tear drop and honestly I don't regret my decision. I'll get pics up this week, I keep forgetting sorry ;-)

Omg they look amazing. The shape is perfect and they've dropped so nicely! I better make it clear to Dr V that I want round implants instead of teardrop during the consultation. Do you mind if I show him your photos?

Of course u can, he did them he prob has my photos anyways. I can't believe how little they dropped tho. When people kept saying they drop I was nervous they would droop a lot, but I didn't loose any of the size when they did or when the swelling went, they look the same just less plastic. :-)

Oh really? But the slope looks really good in the side profile and yet the top still looks nice and full from the front. Usually ladies who haven't dropped yet have very unnatural projection when see from the side. I guess Dr V just did a really wonderful job! :)

Thanks girly, I know what u mean, I def think the dual plane placement made a diff on that projection, the second pic I just uploaded in the bikini was 2 days post op :-) I have seen some that almost look weird at that stage. Really really happy with them tho, I still try on bikinis every night before bed :-) and say at least once a day "I love my boobs" worth every Penney. I can't wait for you to be at this stage xx

Awesome review! Thank you so much for providing such great detail. Was the hospital pretty responsive? How long did you have to wait for your surgery? I know some girls make first contact with the doctor, then have to wait up to 4 months? Thanks again, great review!

They look great! I am happy to hear you had no pain and that Dr V was very professional. I will be sure to stick to my guns about round implants. Can I ask what size implants you got and what your chest width is? I too am hoping for beautiful results like yours.. In 36 days! :)

Thanks for your review! They look great! I'm thinking about having BA with Dr. V as well and I'm wondering if you are still happy with your new boobs?
