How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I'm still working past retirement age and in the tech industry, no less. So I'm always looking for something with no down time that works and isn't too expensive. For me, surgery has always been out, so I've used Botox, Restylane, and a bunch of creams.
I had my first Vivace Experience Wednesday. For those of you who are curious, my friend MaryAnn Guerra runs Aesthetics Biomedical, which is the American manufacturer of a Korean technology that microneedles the face to encourage it to develop its own collagen.
The company gave me my first treatment yesterday. (This is not the same microneedling done with needling pens that used to be in use, because those were actually recalled by the FDA because of infection risk. )This device is much more controllable. I was a bit scared, because I had Ulthera in the past and it was very painful.
First they numbed my skin with lidocaine. I lay there listening to a podcast while they poked my skin with the microneedles for about 45 minutes. You don't feel nothing, of course, but you don't feel anything intolerable either.
When it is over (about a half hour) they put a mask over my face that had a peptide in it that drew out the redness. By the time I left the office, I was "normal" looking. I went on to the university to teach a class.
They recommend two or three treatments, so I guess I will have more.
But after the first treatment there's a visible difference. And not just to me!

Because I was part of a training group for which the company used "friends and family," my experience was, of course, stellar. So I can't review the practitioner except to say that Antoinette totally knows what she's doing and moved to Phoenix to help the company roll out the machine in the US.
