So happy for you. You will soon come to realize that your love affair with food has turned into more of a nice friendship. It really is amazing. I am 2 1/2 months post op. Food doesn't own me anymore. I'm so thankful.
Congratulations on surgery and weight loss.Your story so similar to mine. I was due for surgery same day as you but cancelled because of my blood pressure being scarily high,never had a problem before so totally out of left field ,and like you say....SCARY ! On meds and came down really quickly and new surgery date set for 2nd June, God willing. Hope you are recovery well and having good weight loss. Any tips or advice gratefully received. Take care x

Surgery Date!

I had my EDG on Tuesday 3/3/15. I tested positive for H pylori, so I'm on antibiotics for the next 10 days. my surgery is scheduled for March 24th at 1:30 pm. Today is the second day of my 14 day liquid diet. This has been a very long journey. Can't wait to be sleeve! The hardest part is the liquid diet. Lord have mercy on me.

Update of my journey...

Monday, February 9th, I will be going for my psych evaluation and Tuesday, February 10th, will be my second weight loss aappointment, with 4 more to go. Unless I'm approve to skip this part due I did  a year weight loss program at another hospital. Yes I'm excited and can't wait to start my journey.
