I decided to go with ICL instead of Lasik mostly because my eyes were so bad, but also to limit the change for halo vision etc.. Despite being told that won't happen with ICL's, it did. I also have major issues with bright lights, like on my iPhone or laptop- I can barely read because it is so blurry with the backlight. I can see great under normal, daytime (not too bright), But night driving is awful, and I can't use my cell phone or laptop if it is dark. SO I don't think I would do it again.

I thought about it. I saw better in my glasses/contacts. As I mentioned above , I feel like I was sold a dream. I just found out the lens is only available in 1/2 diaopter (increments . of 50). I have t give Visian a call

I just had one removed at Barnett Delaney and implanted with the Basic Lens. I was never counseled on what is best for me. I paid for the HD Multifocal ReStor lens but they were hazy for distance and hazy for close. All I could see without glasses was medium distances up to 10 feet or so. I could not drive with them. Now that one is Basic I can see at a distance again in one eye and the ReSTOR eye can work for me doing this work on the computer. Basic gives NO near vision at all. SO, I'm considering keeping the two eyes the way they are, with two different lenses. If i want to read a recipe I close the distance eye, if I want to see far I close the ReSTOR eye. Kinda' weird. I have halos with the ReStor lens so I'm hoping they go away with time.

Your experience is similar to mine. I had surgery in May. I only see 20/30 I was 20/25 with contacts. My lens Rx was 13 and 10.50
I feel like I was sold a dream on what the outcome would be. "20/20" "high definition" I'm wondering if my Dr. chose the right Rx? I would not recommend to others right now. I'm still looking for answers. Im not getting from my current MD , he has been very vague post op.

I am also in Phoenix. I just had one Restore iCloud removed due to halos and poor distance vision. Where did you have your surgery? I used a major local chain. I felt I had little to no counseling to help make a decision. Now I have one multi focal and one clear basic. So far so good, but I still see halos in the one eye. The trade-off is that now I have more range of vision even though way up close requires cheaters.

Hi all, I had my ICL done about 2 months back. lenses were implanted twice in my Left eye as the first one they implanted didnt suit my eye. This resulted in high IOP and i had to undergo SUrgical PI to reduce the pressure. After that a new lens was implanted and the vision was ok the very first day. But after that it became blurry. I can see well with my right eye but my left eye is blurry. The pupil seems to be bigger than the right eye. Doc says not to worry abt it. But this blurry vision and glare is bothering me a lot. Any suggestions?
