From the minute I met Dr. Hobgood, I felt at ease. Our personalities clicked, and I knew right away he was the doctor for me. He was confident, yet not cocky. He was realistic and excited to give me the best results possible. I am beyond thrilled with not only my results, but the level of courtesy, professionalism, and attention to detail that I received from Dr. Hobgood and his staff. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to have any facial plastic surgery procedure.

45 yr old mom of 5. I was tired of looking tired. Blessed with genetic bags under my eyes, I have wanted blepharoplasty since I was 15. Recently separated after 16 years of marriage, I knew it was now or never to get this done. I am beyond pleased with my results. I was a tough case, my surgery was about 2 hrs. I had uppers and lowers done. My recovery was tough, not going to lie, but I followed pre op and post op instructions to the letter, and I am sure that helped. I had minimal bruising. I did take Quercetin, Bromelain, and Arnica. I also drank lots of water and used ice packs with my head elevated. I still sleep on my back, with my head elevated, 2 months later. It's hard to imagine my results getting better, but they say it can take up to 18 months for full results. All I can say is WOW, and I wish I had done it sooner.

Great results! I had my upper lids done in February and hoping to do lowers within the year but very nervous about the outcome. Do you know if fat was removed or repositioned? Did the doc make an incision below your lash lines to tighten any loose/lax skin?

Do the lowers! I do have an incision below the lash line, and he did reposition fat. He seriously did an amazing job.

Thanks for the response! Part of my fear is that I've gotten difference recommendations re: fat. Some want to remove, others re position and in one case one suggested a fat transfer. There are pros and cons with all and so hard to decide which is the best way to go. Did you have many consults? Were you consistently told the same thing?

Kim, I hope you'll go to several consultations, maybe with plastic as well as oculoplastic surgeons, just to get an idea of what your options are. No one should pressure you one way or the other. At least you'd have more knowledge upon which to make decisions. I had upper and lower done in February 2017 and am thrilled with my results. However you have to do what your comfortable with.
