7 week update

So I haven’t had any pain at all in over a month. It appears it has gotten smaller, but still not what I had hoped. I had a little indent in the day below my belly button and it has shrank bit not left completely. I also have been very consistent on exercise and a healthy diet so I don’t know how much is that and how much is coolsculpting. I can definitely see a difference since I started though

I am 29 and I have been lifting weights...

I am 29 and I have been lifting weights consistently for 4 years and been very conscious of my diet. I am happy with my body and have seen a lot of benefit from my lifestyle, but I have always had a belly pooch that I just cannot get rid of no matter how healthy I eat or how much I exercise. Apparently it’s genetic, my mother stores fat in the same area.
I decided to get coolsculpting, I had 2 consultations at 2 different places and both said I would only need 1 treatment lower abdomen. I went and they fitted me with the flat applicator because the area was not quite large enough to pinch. It covered below my pooch to just over my belly button.
The procedure was exactly as described. The flat applicator takes 1 hour 15 mins. The first 5-10 mins were extremely cold, but it faded as the area went numb. I was quite comfortable. Afterwards I was massaged with the Zimmer z wave and it sounded like a mini jackhammer. It was not painful at all because the area was completely numb.
The day or treatment I was mostly just numb.
The next day I went to the gym. I had to do legs because anything that caused me to engage my core was painful, but not unbearable. It felt much like being sore after the gym or maybe like a bruise.
I was numb for about 4 days. I massaged the area often as my provider instructed me. Still a little sore and occasionally i felt a prickling, like when your arm falls asleep and is waking up.
It was a little sore but nothing unbearable. Immediately after I was able to resume my normal activities. I did not take any ibuprofen or Tylenol or anything because I read that it can interfere by inhibiting the body’s inflammatory response.
After 2 weeks all pain was gone. It has now been 3 weeks and I feel like it hasn’t done much, but when I took before and after photos I can see a noticible difference. I know it can take up to 3 months to see full results so I remain hopeful.
