I used to have a C cup in highschool but later in life I lost my volume and always dreamed of BA. I decided to get surgery as a birthday gift to myself for the last year of my twenties, the beginning and end to era I suppose. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I only regret that I waited so long to do it! Although I did end up getting a capsular contracture and just recently had a capsulectomy procedure, I still have no regrets. I feel much more feminine now.

How long after your BA did you have a capsular contracture? I'm so glad to hear that you're doing so well!

Thank you! I started feeling slight pain and hardness around 3 or 4 months post op. I believe that was the time I started developing the contracture

One of my breasts wasn't dropping and it began to feel harder than the other. I also felt a little bit of pain. I went to my surgeon and he stated it might be a contracture and had me wear a band just on that breast as often as I could. A couple months later it showed no improvement and was even harder. I scheduled the surgery to get it removed at that point.

Did the second surgery hurt? And did they remove implant? Did they put same implant back in or replace it with new? Sry for so many questions. I have no sign of cc but I worry about it all the time. Thank u for your reply. Hope you're doing good. You look gorgeous.

Allergic reaction to surgical glue

A day or two after my capsulectomy my breast started itching really badly and a rash developed. It became very red and started draining a lot of clear fluid. I did some research and realized I was having an adverse reaction to the glue used to make my incision waterproof. I went to my surgeon and he prescribed me a steroid cream called Betamethasone. He also removed the glue, almost instantly I felt a big of relief. Although expensive since I have no insurance, it's helped tremendously. The pics I've attached are two days after surgery, and one day after applying the cream.
