Awesome....I am in Philly too. Where did you go? I'm considering Einstein or Bryn Mawr. Loose skin???

I went to Jeans hospital which is a part of Temple. I do have some lose skin on my arms but I'm hopeful that with weight training and some toning I can get rid of it. I highly recommend my Doctor. His bedside manner is great and the office staff is wonderful.

I'm going to Bryn Mawr. My insurance will only pay if it's an Institute of Quality. Soo....with that being said I have an appointment 9/17 with the surgeon. I have watched so many videos and read a million stories I probably can hold a seminar....LOL

That's right around the corner!! I had the sleeve. I was a little hesitant when it came to rearranging my plumbing.

I feel you on that. Bryn mawr is about 20 minutes from me. All my other doctors are at Lankenau so the surgeon will have access to all my med recs since I am all Main Line Health....

18 days post-op

So things are still going well for me. I am 18 days post-op and feeling GREAT! I was able to return to work with very little discomfort. I must say that although I am not hungry I am getting the feeling that I need to chew but I have remained strong and resisted temptation. I will be so happy when I can graduate my diet to soft foods.

I'm only a few days out and definitely can't eat anything for a while yet but definitely know what you mean about chewing. I think purée for me is at day 17 and then soft foods on the 28th or 30th can't remember. What's your program's timeline?

Sound like we have very similar timeline. I did full liquid for one week then pourable purée for two weeks. Today I start soft foods. Congrats on taking that step to gain back your life. It is definitely one of the best decision in my life.
