Quick background: I'm 30 years old, female, in relatively good shape, but have always had a double chin. Even at 75 pounds in my youth. I'm not comfortable with surgery or injections so CoolSculpting was the best option for me.

It's only be a week and although I do not see any results yet, I am pleased to say I've had no pain or adverse side effects. During the procedure the first 5 minutes were slightly uncomfortable but the worst part was not knowing how much colder/uncomfortable it would get before going numb. Once I went numb and was no longer uncomfortable I realized that it really wasn't that bad in the first place. For me it was just the unknown that was scary. The 2 minute massage was painful. The warmth of the air and the technicians hands stung my cold skin and it felt like little needles. But it only lasts 2 minutes and I was never in so much pain that I couldn't speak to the tech while she massaged.

That night and the next day my chin just felt a little numb. One week later and the skin is very slightly tender but has never been painful. I also did not experience any bruising (which I was surprised about because I bruise very easily) and very little swelling.

I was told to expect to see initial results around the 3 week mark and the best results 10-12 weeks after the procedure. Once I have photos that show a change I will upload before and after photos.

I wrote this recap/review because I was VERY scared of pain during and after the procedure. I don't know why I did not experience pain but I'm very grateful that I did not and wanted to let others know that not everyone experiences it.

Hi. I also had this done and like you didnt have the pain or bruising and very little swelling which seemed great at the time.
Hindsight though, I had it in December and its now been two months and no change at all.
Kind of wish I would have saved it for chin lipo

I'm getting worried that I'll have a similar situation. It was two weeks last night and no difference at all. But again, they did tell me it would take three weeks to see any results so I'm still hoping! I will be VERY disappointed after spending that much for nothing but more than that I've wanted something like this for 20 years. I will be heartbroken if nothing happens.

5 weeks out and not one sliver of a difference. So disappointed.

How did it work out? Did you end up seeing any results? I'm trying to decide between this, Kybella, or chin lipo. Thanks!

This Thursday will be 9 weeks and there is no noticeable difference at all. I reached out to the spa that performed my procedure and they said they'd like me to come in at my 10 week point to take new pictures for comparison. Even if there is a slight difference in photos it's not enough for my self or boyfriend to discern.
