Hey Guys,
Again I am new here to this website. I just wanted to share w/ everyone out there my findings/research, as I have been going through laser tatt removal for about 1 1/2 years now, and honestly, I have been researching about it the whole time too!

I have had 6 sessions TOTAL (I took 3 months b/w treatments to allow optimal body cleansing of the ink particles) and still am seeing ink/outlines. My tatts are very small (approx. 1"sq) and just outlines in blue ink, no shading. I was quoted at 5 sessions, and although I know no one can be sure b/c there are many variables involved in removal, I am at #7 and can tell for a fact that it will not be clear at 7. By the looks of it, I may need more like 10-12 sessions...and quite honestly, I am not sure if I am going to continue. I posted another blog on here asking anyone who has gone through and FINISHED laser tattoo removal to PLS post pics and/or share their experience w/ me b/c I am starting to become very doubtful that 100% removal (or very close to 100%) is even possible.

Anyway, I just wanted to share some of my findings with everyone in regards to how I am dealing. I have not been feeling myself since removal, in sorts, not only b/c the aesthetics results behind laser removal, but the emotional ones too which could be a result from the insecurity regarding this whole process. When I first considered and started treatment, I thought "hey, I can do 5 treatments; what's 1 year of work for the rest of my life?"...well now, being 1 1/2 years and on treatment #7, I am starting to lose it. I guess it has emotionally taken a toll on me, not only because I feel disgusted w/ these "wounds", but also I cannot help but feel physically kind of, eh how do I say, sick. I know most of you going through treatment are probably really emotional about the whole thing too, which doesn't help us physically...b/c let's face it, when we feel sh*itty emotionally, we may actually get physically sick. This is NOT cool in my book, going on over a year now. I mean, how much can the spirit or body really handle?

So I came across some more findings about laser tattoo removal, the physics behind it and some of the facts in regard to the laws of nature. SO basically, the ink that is getting zapped, breaks down and is removed by our lymph and body's immune system...ok, we understand that concept. BUT, what is ink made of?
As I researched more, ink is not just a pigment...it contains many METALS, some being arsenic, lead, and mercury. AH HA i thought! That would explain perhaps why we may feel physically sick during this whole process AND why the tattoo doesn't completely fade...perhaps the brown discoloration that occurs from black/blue ink is actually a CHEMICAL reaction to the high intensity heat that the laser produces...like it frys the pigment, some of which gets broken down and dissipates through our immune system, and some which remains, chemically broken down to nothing more than metals. I'm no scientist, but physics is the ultimate reality in which nothing can deny. And the laser relies on physics to perform this procedure.
Long story short, I wanted to share a few links which delve further into this subject. I am not telling anyone to stop treatment or freak out, but this is information that I feel we should all be aware of in the least. I know laser tattoo treatment is a relatively new procedure, so it is plausible that many more finding could arise in this medical procedure that we may not be aware of now. So maybe if you feel kinda ill, or weak, or just not yourself...this could be due to the metal circulation through your body from the ink removal. Just thought I'd share, it's something we should consider....and yes, no one informed me of this when I started treatment, I just recently really began looking into it.
Let me know your thought please! Thanks (see links below..or google "metal poisoning from laser tattoo removal")

THANKS!!!
