I was a broken person for 14 years trying to be able to afford this surgery or get approval for insurance coverage and it is only a recent revelation that makes me so glad I waited. I always thought my unhappiness was because of how I looked to other people. I was wrong. How I see me needed to start inside and work it's way way out. I was caught off guard when my surgeon asked me if I was happy with the results and what my family thought and in my head I was musing over the fact that I get up and look at my breasts every day and feel amazing, not giving a thought to anyone other than me. Receiving relief from pain and embarrassment has been a gift that I am forever grateful for. The right surgeon, the right time to give yourself the best recovery and outcome, being compliant with post op instructions and realistic expectations did it for me. I thought the cost range for his surgery was out of my reach and fortunately insurance covered my procedure, but the higher end of the price range is the way to go. So worth it. Sorry when I took these pictures I never dreamed I would work up the courage to post them. I'm positive my husband used some type of app based filter. Still a great result. I think I want a tummy tuck and then I'll close the chapter on plastic surgery procedures.
