After years of being heavy and yo yo dieting, my weight has final settled aroung 155-160 (5'5"). As with so so many other people here, the first fat to disappear was in my breast i was left with pretty saggy breasts and the nipples of a 220lb woman with D breast (aka very large areolas). After years of feeling self concious, hiding under layers and pushup bras and avoiding nakedness in general, i decided to make a change.
I searched my area for the best breast surgeon i could find, preferably one who did tough cases, like reconfruction and boy did i find a good one. Once i went in for my consultation, my mind was made up. It was time for a change.
I booked an OR date with dr. Bucky that very day. They sent my a beautiful packed of instructions and info and a bag of vitamins ans supplememts. The next few weeks of waiting were the worst. I kept wondering if I picked the right sized implant. Will it be garish or wIll I wish I sized up? I was neeeervous. In the end we went with 370cc moderate profile saline implants. He assured me that with the amount of extra skin and my overall curviness, these would be perfect and natural looking.
2 days ago was my op day. I went in super anxious, nervous, excited, the whole nine. Dr. Bucky used his little blue marker to make a Picasso on my breasts. And he ended by saying, this is gonna be a really good change for you. Exactly what I needed to hear. I walked into the or confidentally. And went right out with the versed. When I came too I was in a lot of pain but as soon as I grimaced they filled me with dilaudid and I was instantly confortable. My boyfriend shuttle me home shortly thereafter and I slept the day away in a an anesthesia haze.
Day two was the hardest. I got behind the 8 ball with pain and couldn't even sit up without feeling like by breasts would rip right open. After a lot of Valium and vicodin I got comfy and eventually slept right through the night.
It's now day three and I'm ready for the bandages to come off. I canNOT wait. And for the pain to completely resolved. But I can e patient I guess :) my pics are the the computer generated ones my doc did a month ago. I'm not sure I have a before pic

From my doc. He put it on in the or (aka I woke up in it). If I figure out who makes it I'll post bc it's uber comfy :)

The bra is made by sleepbra. And I highly recommend it. It's super comfy with all the support you need.

First day taking a peek. I'm totally bloated from fluid and laziness (true story). But I was so excited to finally take a look at my ps's handiwork. I already love the new ladies! Later the bandages are coming off too but so far im beyond ecstatic. I've only had to take the Valium once today bc I woke up a little tight. Other than that I ready to get back to my real life, only with my upgraded body!
I will say, stool softeners everyday from day one certainly saved me. And sugar free jello and loads of water. All of which I was prepared for thanks to reading everyone else's post op reviews.
