Phenol Peel a waste of money, little difference & left with red splotches

I had a full face Phenol peel this summer 2023. What an incredible disappointment! I had mainly oral wrinkles and wrinkles around my eyes. I was so motivated by the before and after photos from many doctors nationally, I could not wait to do it. I was heavily sedated with pills , no IV, during the procedure. I do not remember anything. When I got home SEVERE pain relieved by Tramadol. The oozing and peeling was tolerable. I finished peeling after a week. I was extremely disappointed by the results. Very very little difference!! I also was left with horrible red splotches all over my face!! They supposedly take 3 months or up to a year to go away!! I had grisly red streaks in the side of my face that had no wrinkles!! There is a three week agonizing period where you have uncontrollable itching- the Dr said there would not be any. The make up is very heavy and ugly. You look older! The make up accentuates the dry areas that continue for months. My under eye area looks OLDER! My mouth was the one area I needed help the most! ZERO improvement! You feel a lot of stress worrying about whether the hideous red splotches will be scars. I feel like I spent $7500 to go through hell and look uglier! DO NOT DO THIS! They must have photoshopped the b/a pics. Can't believe anyone looks that much better. Beware! BTW I am 65 years old.
