During my first consult, Dr Watts asked me what my issues were. For a long time, I have felt self-conscious about my facial proportions. Specifically, I felt my jaw line and chin were both short and recessive. He agreed that I could benefit from some form of augmentation to the lower face to compliment my other features. Dr Watts showed genuine integrity by continuously ensuring that I was making an informed decision based on both the benefits and the risks. The process for a Sliding Genioplasty is completely customised by Dr Watts for the individual, to plan your surgery down to the literal millimetre. I felt really assured by this attention to detail and was impressed with Dr Watts perfectionism. It’s now been two months since my surgery and I can honestly say that I could not have hoped for a better outcome. The surgery has truly improved my self-image. Other issues I felt I had before (like my prominent nose) no longer bother me in the slightest, as Dr Watts was able to use the Genioplasty to balance my features perfectly. My research indicated that Sliding Genioplastys are relatively uncommon, so I really feel fortunate that I was able to find a plastic surgeon that is so skilled and knowledgeable in the procedure.
