I have wanted Rhinoplasty for as long as i can...

I have wanted Rhinoplasty for as long as i can remember! Coming from a family that has a history of deviated septums and then having broken my nose when i was eleven, I decided that I wanted to remove the dorsal hump, pull up the drooping tip of the nose and restructure my deviated septum to help with breathing difficulties. I originally went to Dr Irmani who seemed like he would do a good job but something just didn't feel 100% and alot of the reviews I had read said that you should just know when you meet your surgeon so I decided to meet with another highly positively reviewed surgeon - Dr. Guy Watts. The minute I walked into his office and met his receptionist, Sue, I knew it would be a good experience. Sue is so lovely and so helpful with every nitty gritty detail. She was so warm and welcoming I felt so comfortable and I hadn't even met the surgeon yet. Then I met Dr. Watts and before I had even left the office and before I had seen the quote I knew it was going to be him that I went with because he was so warm and kind but also very good at listening to what exactly I needed but also provided suggestions once I was finished including one that I decided to proceed with which was a small amount of liposuction under my chin. As the day of my surgery approached I was given all the information I needed and prepared as much as I could. On the day of my surgery Dr.Watts came and saw me before I went into the operating room just to make sure I was comfortable which only reassured me more. Once I woke up I was really drowsy but in absolutely no pain and Dr.Watts came to say hello but then I quickly went back to sleep. When I woke up the second time all the nurses were really lovely and gave me some food etc. and then Dr.Watts came back in to see me again. I went home the night of the surgery and wasnt in any pain that night whatsoever. The next morning I woke up and was a bit more uncomfortable, this day after the operation was probably the worst out of all the days but it wasnt so much the pain as the feeling of being uncomfortable and nauseas from the pain medication. That evening I vomited quite heavily from the pain medication and during the first few nights I wasn't sleeping well during the night but then dozing most of the day. However as soon as I was off the pain medication (stopped it a bit early- day 3 post op) I immediately started feeling better. Each day after that the recovery became easier. My appetite returned as soon as i stopped the pain medication and the only time my nose was painful was when i touched it. My chin however was slightly more painful and uncomfortable. I had 2 weeks off work and then when i returned i was still very swollen and still couldn't pronounce a lot of sentences clearly due to limited restriction with movement of my mouth but I was able to work being in an office job. Now I am just over 4 weeks post op and could not be happier! I had no complications except for the vomiting with the pain medication and I am only still slightly swollen which i am hoping will disappear within the next few weeks. The worst part of the procedure for me personally was having the sutures removed as this was a bit sore and I even ended up in tears as they were being removed but Dr.Watts dealt with my crying and was really gentle and supportive. My smile is still not 100% normal due to the remaining swelling but i think this should be normal again in another 4 weeks. When i vomited from the pain medication, I called Dr.Watts and he answered straight away and talked me through the problem and then even called me back a few hours later to see how I was. He is a really caring person that wants you to have the best result for you and although I had one of the worst deviated septums Dr.Watts had seen he still managed a perfect procedure. I would highly recommend Dr.Watts to anyone thinking about rhinoplasty.
