13 months post op

I went back for my year post op appointment, everything is fine, I’m considering getting my right nipple mastopexy redone to make it smaller because when I’m really warm it’s still to big for my liking. Other than that really happy. My surgeon said she still expects them to drop a little more over the next six months so we’re waiting that long for redoing the nipple to make sure it doesn’t stretch out again.I don’t wear a bra at home or when I’m sleeping anymore and it’s finally comfortable. The scars are barely noticeable, I still moisturise them after every shower and will continue to do so forever probably haha. My profile has changed as well I can definitely see them continuing to relax and look more natural even at this point:)

I’m really happy with the size now and how far they have come from the beginnning. I will keep updating over the next few months as the scars fade because they are sill red

Six months

Just thought I’d do a six month update. Pretty happy with the size now, they seem to be sitting a little flatter now they have dropped a bit. Some days I still feel they are too big but it’s not enough to go through another surgery. When I get them redone in ten years Il get 375cc. I only wear un-padded bras because they definitly look too big to me if I wear anything else. I’m still sleeping in a loose post surgery bra otherwise I find after a couple of nights my boobs get sore but I expect that will disappear eventually. I have not worn a bra for an evening and it was fine but I normally always wear something it’s more comfortable. I have no pain anymore and the scars don’t bother me very much. I expect them to lighten up in the next six months and hope they won’t be two much more noticeable. Overall I’m so happy I went with the surgeon I did. I’ve been very lucky with no issues and to be comfortable in front of my bf without a bra on is something Il never take for granted:)

Provider Review

Specialist Plastic Surgeon
Level 1, Perth, Western Australia

I've just had one short meeting with Anh so far. She has been honest about the fact that this is not an easy condition to correct and I may need a revision down the track to further correct my nipples. I chose her because I felt more comfortable with a women surgeon and she had experience with tuberous breasts. I also did not feel comfortable travelling overseas for surgery that was not a straight forward BA
