I love it it is great and a cheap way rather than other fillers every few months, tho it is i bit lumps no one notices, i would like to get more in my lips as i have had this for 6 year but im scared after hear other peoples storys!

I've used Aquamid from the same doctor intermittently in Perth for the past 10 years and it gives a great result. Unfortunately he has decided to no longer use it so does anyone know of another doctor who injects Aquamid obviously experienced and provides a good result? I have been told that because it is permanent some doctors are afraid to use it?? I am 59 years old and need a freshen up.

I think your lips and you yourself look positiely beautiful!!! Don't let others frighten you especially since youve tried it before and had great results I personally dont think you need any more but can see the difference in your before and after pics so go for it if you really think you need more but I for one think your doctor did a fantastic job on them as they are now bravo!!! take care!!!

Hi I totally love your lips they look glam and real not trout pout ( love it) I would love my lips done but dont know if there is anyone in ACT who does it as good as your DR? unless he want free accommodation at my lodge in Jindabyne???

I'm in Sydney and Aquamid was $1000.00 a phial last time I had it, not cheap, but a lot cheaper than Juvaderm, and it is permanent so you have to be very careful who injects it.
Like any product it is only dangerous in unqualified hands.If you have a good experience with it, then you are the same as me.I wouldn't believe all you read as some go to unqualified or inexperienced practitioners or to clinics that are not using Aquamid at all.
I am always shown the unbroken product before it is injected the same as when I have had Botox. Some people have even tried to inject Aquamid themselves. Crazy!

You should not require a top up with Aquamid. It is a permanent filler so I am not sure why you would want a top up.Please explain

I mean what I had put in was a small amount, I would like a little more on my upper lip and to make it match my lower lip. My lower lip is also a little uneven and the corner of my mouth as I have gotten older needs to be touched up that all. In general they look good but can be enhanced to look better and fuller.

OK. Understand. I also had a little put in at a time.An upper lip is "Normally" less volumous than a lower. To have upper and lower lips the same size does not usually look good.

I am actually intending to go and see him in the next few weeks as my top lip volume is great but I don't like the ridge I now have on the border of upper cutaneous lip which looks ugly on side profile and I want him to level it out. It is a bit difficult to explain on email LOL

Welcome to the Aquamid community. Wow, six years is a long time, I didn't know it could last that long. Your lips look really nice. Have you consulted your doctor about getting more filler? Please keep us updated and thanks for the pictures.
