WORTH IT
My sister and I wanted to have rhinoplasty for years, both for functional and cosmetic reasons. I had never broken my nose but felt as if I wasn't getting a lot of air through the right side and I also disliked the hump I had. My sister went to a couple of consultations but couldn't stop raving about Dr Watts so I figured I would start with him and then go from there. At that stage I hadn't even decided if I wanted to go through with it as I was worried about the actual procedure and whether it would turn out looking worse, but I decided going to a consultation would help make up my mind and it did just that :) After my consult with Dr Watts I didn't even want to see anyone else as I was so sure he would do an amazing job and I booked my surgery a week or two after.
After the surgery Dr Watts came to check on me and after he left the nurses were commenting on how I had such a great doctor and how nice and friendly he was. The recovery of the surgery was very easy which I did not expect, I left the hospital at about 11:30am and went home to read magazines/sleep. I bruised pretty badly and had two black eyes and some swelling, but I iced it a lot for the first night and the swelling was pretty much gone the next morning. Dr Watts even called to check on me that night and see how I was going. I didn't have any trouble eating although I lost my taste buds on and off for the first week. I had zero pain, not even any headaches so I didn't need to take the prescription pain relief, I just took panadol and nurofen as per the schedule Dr Watts gives you. If it wasn't for the black eyes I would have questioned whether I had even had surgery. I spent the two weeks off work watching movies and reading books and it was great.
I was so happy as soon I as saw my nose out of the splint and it has now been 5 weeks and I am so pleased with the result. I didn't want my face to change or anything drastic, I just wanted a subtle change (plus breathing to improve) and Dr Watts did that exactly. It looks amazing.
I would recommend him to everyone, I had the easiest and best experience.
