As promised i am reveiwing my recent experience of Infini RF.

My appt was at 9am today. the dermatologist applied numbing cream to my face and left it to work its numbing magic for 40 mins. i noticed my face burned and turned red but my derm never mentioned it and continued with the treatment anyway.

I consulted with my derm Jenny for a while ( she was very nice and patient and happy to help with my many questions and setting changes that i requested) so that we were both happy with the settings she would use on my face. i think this is really important and helped me to be able to tell her when i thought the setting was too high etc

we both agreed to the following settings

To acne scarred cheeks only -1 pass at 3mm 400ms level 3
-1 pass at 2mm 400ms level 2
To entire face including cheeks - 2 passes at 1mm 400ms level 2

the first pass on acne scarred cheeks at 3mm 400ms level 3 - this setting was very confronting and i had to stop her a few times on my first cheek as the pain was unbearable and i couldnt stop crying.
comparing it to the second cheek i think the infini device was being pushed too deeply into my skin and i have tracking marks on that particular cheek similar to daniellewiththesoreskin's reveiw pictures.

The same settings were used on my left cheek, but she wasnt pushing the device into my skin this time, only resting the device on my skin. The left side of my face has very minimal tracking marks and wasnt painful at all. very tolerable even though the settings were the same.

the 1mm on the entire face was fine.

Make sure that if you are getting this treatment you stop the derm if the pain is waaaay too intolerable as it means there is definitely something wrong. in my case i think, though im no dermatologist so i cant be sure, that the device was too deeply pushed into my skin, exaspertaing the settings. it is now 10pm and i am still icing the right cheek as it is still burning.

As soon as my consult was over i noticed infini trackings on my right cheek and could tell by the pain and burning in that area alone that i needed to ice pack it asap. i rushed to the pharmacy and bought an instant ice pack and pure aloe vera gel and applied both to my face. this was very soothing and bought some swelling down and helped alot.

i know that because i was well informed about the infini procedure and prepared myself for any posible side effects, read reviews from this site, and consulted with my derm about settings. i was able to have what i believe will be a good result from this procedure. my skin feels tight, redness is slowly fading and im feeling good!

i will keep you all updated with the results! x

Very Nice Derm. Very happy and helpful. Ready to assist with queries and concerns etc. reccomended after care products that i should use and explained in detail things that i should avoid putting on my face and how my face has many microscopic sores and i need to take care of it over the next 24-48 hrs.

It is now 4 weeks since my first treatment and on occassion I can feel patches of focus heat just like i experienced immediately after the treatment. Perhaps that is the new collegen forming ??
Anyone else experience this feeling??
I am happy with the outcome but the down time was a little longer than i expected

I feel that strange heat/vibrating feeling too sporadically, even weeks after my treatment. I felt it more often after my second treatment that had a bit higher setting - at 280. I was wondering the same thing. Is it some sort of process in the healing? Maybe an Infini expert can interject!
