Personal Experience Hair Transplant
I would like to share my personal experience with Este Favor Hair Clinic following a hair transplant procedure I underwent there.
Unfortunately, I developed a serious postoperative complication: scalp necrosis. Although rare, this is a recognized complication of hair transplant procedures. In my case, it has had a significant physical and psychological impact.
The recovery process has been prolonged and challenging. I have experienced considerable anxiety and social isolation, and I have been unable to work for approximately two months to date. The timeline for full recovery remains uncertain, and there is a permanent scarring.
In addition, I have concerns about the aesthetic outcome of the procedure. Certain areas may develop irregular or unnatural hair direction, which, along with the scarring, require corrective interventions in the future.
I also encountered serious issues regarding transparency and documentation. I was not provided with a formal medical report following the procedure, nor was I able to obtain the name of the individual who performed the surgery. Furthermore, I was informed postoperatively that no hair growth guarantee would be provided as agreed.
As my concerns grew, I began to question how the procedure had been performed. Due to the lack of clarity and accountability, I have initiated legal proceedings, and my case is currently before the court.
I strongly advise anyone considering a hair transplant to conduct thorough research into the clinic and medical team. It is essential to ask detailed questions about who performs each stage of the procedure and to ensure that critical steps—particularly the incisions—are carried out by a qualified and experienced physician.
For context, I was in good health, not taking any medications, and had completed all necessary medical evaluations in the Netherlands prior to the procedure.
