WORTH IT
To Bryan Mendelson and your wonderful support staff, especially Jen, Jo, and Terry.
I cannot thank you enough for changing my life, your genius surgical skill's, talent and passion for your art, have not only transformed my physical appearance but also perhaps reflecting back now, more my psychological well being and an upgrading of myself to a level of happiness bordering on euphoria, this is not an exaggeration.
Prior to your intervention, my life and well being was in a steady decline of mass unhappiness, my facial appearance and ageing as well as my poor Gene pool had accelerated in a few short years that left me looking into the mirror many times daily with total despair and unhappiness.
I felt that my face did not match my body, i had always stayed physically fit and enjoyed exercise and the results that it brought, but in recent times i felt that this was now a waste of time as looking in the mirror just didn't justify the effort any more, hence my diet deteriorated as well as my love for being physically fit. I kept thinking that this now is the beginning as i was in my early fifties when this started to hit home and i just kept thinking about what lay ahead for me in the years to come.
Never did i think or imagine that what you have achieved for me was possible, a total transformation with insurmountable results that was and is undetectable to all of the people who know me , including my parents. I was very paranoid about revealing myself after my surgery even though i was assured by you Bryan that there would be no coming out hysteria, gasps or obvious staring and pointing at my face from people close to me and i kept thinking that everyone that knows me will be onto it straight away, but bizarrely this did not happen, even when the day came when i was to see my parents for the first time after my surgery after some weeks, who both thought i had been away on a holiday. I remember thinking this is it and walking in with my heart beating pretty quickly, my mother was cooking lunch and after a hug and a kiss she went back to it, but my father did look at me for a bit and questioned my refreshed look and raised it with my mother who turned and looked at me and said to my father that i had just been on an extended holiday, hence the refreshed and rested looking face, little did they know how much work had actually been done, wow, i was at this point thinking how amazing this was all turning out, just an incredible, outstanding outcome.
I have not had one person since having extensive facial surgery even come close to recognising the work you have performed on my face, yet the new age defying youthful look is very obvious. This i find outstanding and really fascinating at the same time, as it is so very obvious when comparing the before and after photo's, just truly outstanding. I now live in a daily state of elation.
I have to also say that i think back a lot at how fortunate i was by a bit of fate, luck and whatever other forces that lead the way to what i now call Gods kitchen and all of his dedicated staff, Bryans offices.
I had no idea that from this point on i was in the hands of such a brilliant surgeon. I also there met the wonderful Jenn who is also a long serving well oiled machine in this tower of talent, who during our chat's shown me the countless before and after photo's of so many people that have had their live's transformed by Bryan, i knew at this point that i was in very good hands (no pun intended) as the photo's don't lie.
I, like many others to many times see in the media the countless very poor outcomes of cosmetic plastic surgery that make you gasp and many times you see these poor outcomes on prominent people in the public eye like actor's and actress's, celebrities etc and cannot help thinking, wow, if they cannot get it right with their power, money and connections, then what hope has the person in the street. But of course its the obvious that stands out in so many ways that is always a draw card for negative comment and judgement on this subject and i now know that people from all walks of life have outstanding success with cosmetic surgeries when in the right hands.
My day is now filled with happiness, confidence and lot's to look forward to, a whole new lease on life that possibly is the happiest i have ever been, i could keep going and going, i now no longer think about ageing in the way i did, which was spiralling into an almost hopeless depressive state.

ps: i also would like to urge anybody considering plastic cosmetic surgery to read Bryans book. I am a prolific non fiction reader and can tell you that i found this book fascinating and one of the best reads i have had, i couldn't put it down. It was nothing like i expected, just a brilliant read, very enlightening and up there with the best.

Hi James, loved your story, I am waiting for my surgery with Dr Mendelson as I agree he is such a wonderful surgeon. Have you posted any photos I would love to see them?

Hi FM, thank you for your nice comment and apologies for my slow reply and possibly my third attempt as I am currently out of the country. I am happy and excited for you and your upcoming Bryan Mendelsen experience as I am sure you are. Have total faith and confidence in the fact that at the other end of some healing and constant and sincere support from Bryan and his wonderful staff you will be a new you, both in looks, spirit and a new found enthusiasm for looking in the mirror )) With regards to your question re, posting my photo's, I am pondering this, but in short I do enjoy knowing that even after having had quite an extensive amount of cosmetic surgery no one really knows barring a hand full of people and it is not obviously noticble to anyone looking at me for the first time that I have been down this road, no visible scarring at all, it is that good and I guess there in if it was revealed or made public in a wholesale way I would perhaps then wonder when entering a room where I might know people mixed with people who I do not know and wonder whether my surgery would become a part of the conversation, yes perhaps overthinking it all )) Anyway I will keep it short as I am not sure if this will arrive in your inbox. Hi There,
First of all i am so so sorry for my slow reply as i have been at sea of Airlie beach and have had no phone reception for nearly two weeks now and apologies again for my slowness replying.
With regards to your question about my before and after photo's, i did decide after some thought not to go public with my photo's as there is only a hand full of very trusted people who know about my transformation and as well as that and as i have mentioned in my comments that no one that i know has figured it out as to why i look different and there has never been a suggestion by anyone as to whether i have had surgery or not.
I do get a lot of second looks and comments from people i have not seen for a while, but again not in the direction of the possibility of surgery being behind this, so it is for this as well as me other reasons that i could keep writing about, but of course this is all a personal decision and up to each individual to make up there own minds on what would work best for them.
My advise to you would be that if you are contemplating going down my path and perhaps have DR Mendelson on your radar, then i believe that you should make an appointment to visit him and meet him and there you will be shown countless before and after photo's including mine. I advocate this for many reasons and one of those reasons is that the photo's you see on the PC are not really indicative, due to the quality of them once transferred, diminishing to a very grainy dull look and do not really show the trueness or detail of the before and after shot's and i believe you would be stunned when you see the actual photo's as i was when viewing them for the first time.
I was very very lucky and blessed to have had someone like Bryan Mendelson come into my life when he did and averting any possible disasters or disappointment.
It's to big to get it wrong.

It’s weird. I have read glowing reports about this mans’ work but never anything specific and DEFINITELY never any photos.
It’s so strange.
I’m a very happy recipient of work from another surgeon & am happy to sing his praises on this site- where it is appropriate.
I wonder why none of his “patients” ever post the “evidence...”

Hi Pommy girl, to try and answer your question with out a long and detailed answer is not that easy excepting to say that in my case i was asked if i would go public with the before and after photo's and as much as i wanted to do this in support of Dr Mendelson and the incredible skills he has and the transformation he did for me and my reason for choosing not to which i think probably mirrors many others who take this path is that Dr Mendelsons work is so good and even though i had a vast amount of work done and did all my healing away from family and friends barring one very close family member that i knew whole heartedly i could trust and once totally healed and i knew there had been an incredible transformation of a look that looked so natural but had turned the clock back ten plus years and again even though it was all so obvious to me and i can tell you that even though Dr Mendelsen kept assuring me that no one will detect what i had done, but rather would in their thinking perhaps that i had been on a holiday and looked very rested and bizarrely the moment i went to visit my parents for the first time post op and healed i was thinking they will know for sure and my father did make a comment that i looked different and my mother interjected with a comment to him that i had just been on a holiday and that was it, i was astounded and all of the above is the very reason that myself as well as others would want to keep their anonymity and as i have said before if no one knows what i have had done i then do not have to fear going to social events with either family or friends attending and entering the room and wondering if people there then bring up to others that i had had major face work done, so going public for me and others like me would then put me in a position of i wonder who here knows and am i now the topic of conversation and it would not take long to get around and it is a dilemma of this profession i guess and very unfair to likes of Surgeons of the calibre of Dr Mendelsen and i can assure you with absolute honesty and sincerity that he is the best in the business, do not have any doubts if considering plastic surgery about getting it done by Dr Mendelsen, i can tell you that he has worked on many very public people here and their work is outstanding, its only the very bad work you see that is sensationalised in the media, not the brilliant work. I would be only to happy to share my before and after photo's to you in private, but if you do attend Dr Mendelsens offices for a consultation you will be shown a cavalcade of before and after photos, which i guess will have mine in there as well, my only other advise if considering plastic surgery is not to be driven by trying to get a bargain, this could end in a lot disappointment and regret, skill sets vary widely from surgeon to surgeon and Dr Mendelsons skill sets are at the elite level of plastic surgery, he is internationally recognised in very high regard by his peers.
