Horrible Permanent Eyeliner and Microbladed Eyebrows Makeup
ORIGINAL POST
Horrible Permanent Makeup
$500
As is 3/10/17...Initial eyeliner pain was an 8-10, eyebrows 4-5. My bruising, swelling and eye irritation are all resolving at this point. Ended up getting a steroid solution to use for a few days so I could function. Eyes still very dry, and 90% of eyeliner disappeared after 2 days. Eyebrows look grey/ blue... and only appear microbladed in a few areas, the rest just looks smeared on....not what was expected! Very upset! Have been obsessing over this for weeks, and it's depressing! Don't know what to do... I can't afford to waste the money, but am scared of the next round, since they'll be starting from scratch on eyeliner. Shared my unhappiness and they said they'd fix it, but at what pain and no guarantee the ink will stay. I watched YouTube videos of the procedures, went to consult, read reviews , and nobody really mentioned the pain and blood. I think she was inexperienced and that whatever numbing they use did not work. My husband is upset that I let someone do this to me, and I feel ugly! Should I let them work on me again? Lose my money and walk away? See if they would agree to a refund?

So sorry that your experience was so painful. I had my eyeliner done years ago and felt no pain and had very little swelling. Your eyebrows will lighten up and soften up.
Had my eyebrows microbladed 5 days ago and they look horrible. One eyebrow is thicker and has a longer arch and tail. The healing process is 10 days. I did get my refund, but was told by a new tech, I could start wearing eyebrow pencil on or after day 10 to correct the arch. The new tech told me that I can do choose three things.....She said she could try to remove them with saline, have her correct them in 4 weeks, or I could not do anything sort of removal or correction and just let them fade , but she informed me that it could take a year to fully fade. I'm going to see her in 4 weeks so she can look at my eyebrows again and tell me my best option. Also, on or after day 10, I'm going to put younique liquid touch concealer on the eyebrow that has the bigger arch to hide it. Younique touch concealer can hide tattoos VERY well. YouTube it. It works for tattoos on arms, wrists, legs feet (you get the point). I can also start using foundation too. I bought younique mineral touch foundation. Younique is expensive, but the new tech that I'll be seeing in 4 weeks recommended I use it. Currently, my eyebrows are still dark. They inched yesterday for a few hours but that's it. No itching today. They started getting dry. No scabbing yet, but hopefully it will start. I'm so glad I got my full refund cause I am ticked off with how my eyebrows look. Unreal. I paid a lot of money for disgusting eyebrows. Got my refund though. I'm setting that money aside for the new tech. Wish I found this new tech in the beginning.
By the way, your eyebrows look fine to me. Give them time. They just need to lighten. Your eyeliner looks PAINFUL. omg! So sorry! Has the tech given you your money back?
No, don't let them work on you again! You need to find a new tech that is well experienced. I'm not sure if eyeliner can be corrected.......I know the permanent eyebrows can be corrected or removed with the saline procedure or laser remover. Just not sure about the eyeliner.
No refund, but I went back yesterday, and they had prescription numbing cream this time and left it on for an hour. I could only handle the re touch on the brows and upper lids. She started bottom eyeliner and I decided to stop. It was enough for one day! This permanent makeup sucks, like torture... then to have your new eyeliner to disappear was awful. Sucker me, hopefully this time it will last. Still have to go back for touch up, which I am NOT looking forward to.
Sounds painful! Tomorrow the new tech I'm going to see to fix my eyebrows wants to see me to make sure my eyebrows are healing properly. I just want then off my face. Never again! Lesson learned.
OMG..... 2 days and my 2nd attempt at eyeliner is peeling off.... how can this be? I can not believe this!
Get a refund!!! Is it supposed to peel? I know microblading eyebrows peel, but does the eyeliner?
Just called them... she said it should peel/scab then color should be underneath. However, that's what they said last time, and when it peeled no color ever appeared. Now she say's maybe I'm just one of those people that won't take ink around eyes... Just wait it out for next 4 weeks and see. SOOOOO disgusted, bruised and swollen!
Omg. Will she give you a refund? Geeze, that's horrible!
They have a no refund policy.... Just spoke to a lady that does permanent makeup and she said she's never had that happen, because she uses the hand method...
She is licensed, right??? I would tell her you're going to take her to court for the refund. You have pics to prove she messed up. Show the pics to her manager. I had to do that to get my refund for the microblading on my eyebrows that turned out horrible. Manager gave me a refund fast after she saw pics.
This girl works for her mom, but is licensed. I did check that all out beforehand. I'm glad you got a refund, and hopefully you can get yours fixed or revised to your liking. I'm so mad, about ready to
I have to wait 4 weeks before the new tech can start the process to remove them. She looked at my eyebrows yesterday and said they weren't fully healed. She wants to see if they are fully healed next week.
Also, I have been doing exactly what the new tech told me to do, and it's working. My eyebrows are fading (thank god!) Not only that, but I think I lucked out cause the tattoo is coming off on both eyebrows.
Glad to hear you're making some progress. Sending healing vibes for your eyebrows.... the things we get ourselves into
