Love my Permanent Eyeliner the 2nd Time Around!

I originally received permanent eyeliner on top of my upper lid in 2007 from a different provider. I decided to get it redone by Jin in 2022. Jin required a consult (free) prior to booking the permanent eyeliner appointment. She discovered that my previous permanent eyeliner application had gaps. I admitted that I did not return for the touch up due to the pain of application, which will have corrected the gaps. We had a great discussion during the consult and application. Jin sent me a text with a graphic of do's and don'ts during my consult. My appointment was booked a week later in a Sunday.
During the application appointment, Jin made me comfortable and was professional. She drew eyeliner on my upper lids to guage my preferences for placement and thickness of the eyeliner before proceeding with the permanent eyeliner. Then she applied the numbing cream to my eyelids and taped plastic over my eyelids. 20 min later she began applying permanent eyeliner to my right eye and at 15-20 minutes later she began working on my left eye. It was a very painful (you cannot take any pain meds prior to your appointment) process on the right eye! Jin and I had to work together to get through it. I said, "stop" and "go" as needed to push through the pain. My left eye was more tolerable since the numbing cream sat longer.
I am unable to wash my eyes for 8 weeks so I use a wet towel to remove soap from my face. I do have glaucoma and I continue to use my eyedrops twice per day since the medication is a necessity. I am looking forward to my touch up in 8 weeks!
