Permanent Discoloration After Dermabrasion? Please Help!

I had a small flat mole on my face that I deeply regret trying to get rid of. Back in 2015 I went to a dermatologist for mole removal. The mall was not removed by end up looking darker and stranger. I did an online DIY with apple cider vinegar, but left it on too long and it caused a deep crater. Then throughout the years I have had countless microneedling and chemical peel sessions with little improvement. So left with a hole but no discoloration.

In Feb 2022 I see a different derm who recommended Dermabrasion. It has barely helped the hole but has left the scar dark with the surrounding skin red! The derm prescribed a 8% hydroquinone cream and she has done 2 microneedling sessions without much improvement.


I’m devastated. It seems like not only is the hole in my nose still there but now permanently discolored.


Any recommendations?
