Well after my divorce was final, I decided it was time to do something for me. I used this site as a reference for weeks. We originally talked about adding 500cc's, lipo in my arm pits, hips, abdomen and on top of my pubic bone. I knew I needed volume in my breasts, but I didn't want them to look like "money makers". I had only dreamed about having this done. I was so happy to pay for it and book my surgery time and date. It's only 2dpUT alreadyou I am extremely pleased with the results.

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

Thank you Sheila, I'll try to hit on all of those points.

I'm 5'3". I weigh 165. I had a 36d cup before surgery. I had always wanted to have the surgery, but after my divorce, it was clear that now was the perfect time for a clean slate.

For me, post surgery it was important that I tried to get up and move every few hours. In every way I wasn't able to accurately describe to my ps, pictures were key. Today is day 3. Staying on the pain meds I think helped me get up and around fastee.

Thank you, I can already see huge changes. I admit, I'm nervous about my breasts settling in to position and looking symmetrical. As of now, they arent.

Thank you for your post, pictures and for your stats of cup size before the surgery and implant size. My surgery is schedule for the day after tomorrw and I'm encouraged and excited to have seen your results because I am the same cup size and the ps and I discussed the same size implant. I hope your recovery is continuing forward. I'm curious as to what your final cup size will be after the swelling has gone down. Speedy recovery and congratulations!!

I never thought my breasts would start to drop and settle in to a more natural position, but they are starting to. My incision is starting to heal, most all of the scabs are gone, minus where my tubes were. I can FINALLY sneeze without feeling like my intestines are going to go flying across the room. I'm back to work, still wearing a binder around my waist. Tomorrow I have to fly across the US for work and decided to go with a more low profile option and bought a spanx type garment. It wears like short shorts and goes all the way up to my bra. I'm still not sleeping well, I tend to try to move too much while I'm sleeping and I can only roll to one side. The lipo swelling and lumps are by far, the hardest part of recovering. My TT incision only really hurt for 3 days. The lumps are sore, and the bruising is incredibly deep. I'm ready to go back to the gym, but I realize heavy lifting and hard core HIIT cardio is many weeks away. :(

Just an update, I'm still very happy with my decision to go with Dr. Elwood. My scars are very minimal now, I still wear sunscreen if I go in the sun or tan (I only use tanning beds 3-4 times over the winter so I don't look like Monday Addams). I couldn't be happier, it's nice to know the results are still showing from the TT and the lipo was the best thing (after it healed and the bruising went down). If I had to choose one surgery over the other (TT vs breast implants), I would choose TT every time. While I wanted perky, firmer breasts, my stomach give me so much confidence now when I shop, I noticed, over time, I stopped sucking in my stomach all the time. It was such a horrible habit I had from having an apron.
