35 Yrs, 4 Kids, 171 Lbs, 5' 7" , Athletic Build - Peoria, IL

I honestly believe the reason why my BA on March 2nd was so easy and my healing was so great just 10 days post op (had a hematoma 10 days post op from my own stupidity and PS said I heal way faster than other patients because the inside of my breast with a hematoma was almost completely healed, that's not normal for 10 days). I took these supplements 2 weeks before surgery and will take them until 6 weeks post op. I also drank tons and tons of water before and after and only eat meat, fruits and veggies. I really believe this has helped my recovery, other than my own stupidity causing a hematoma.

Apparently I did too much. I have felt so amazing since day 1 and didn't think twice about bending over on my knees to reach for a remote under my bed. When I pushed myself up with my arms off the floor I felt a pop. Figured my implant shifted. Then walked over to other side of bed and got my hands and knees and pushed my body up (basically a couple knee push ups). After I stood up my right breast was HUGE and the implant was going up towards my neck. I immediately called my PS 90 minutes away. He said it is a hematoma and he needs to do surgery. He took my implant out, cleaned it, drained 400cc of blood and found the bleeding vein and sealed it and put the implant back in. He said I was healing way faster than most women inside my breast so he doesn't think recovery on this breast will be any slower than my other breast that didn't have a hematoma. That was good news to hear. My hematoma breast is stretched out right now as that breast went from 415cc to 815cc with the fluid. He said the stretched out breast will go back to looking normal after a week or two. Scary experience for me. I am not going to do much of anything for now on!!
