This is the side where my drain was coming out. I'm so surprised at how this the scar is. I believe there were internal stitches then the skin was glued together.

Hello! Great outcome! Scar doea look great. What is the w technique? Did you know this was the technique he was going to use?
March 21, 2017
No, I just trusted in him as he is known as a great surgeon in my area. This technique looks a lot better that the U or straight ones I've seen so I'm the totally happy!

I went back to work on day 12! I am still a little hunched over today. My abs tighten up when I walk like contractions. This has been totally worth it!!

Does this look normal?

Are you cleaning it with 1/2 water and peroxide and then putting bacitracin on it and covering it with a square of gauze twice a day? I had to do that until the stitches were removed.

Just seeing this now....have you see your doc since you last posted? Everyone's wounds heal differently. It doesn't look "normal" to me but it also doesn't look terrible. Could just be redness and bruising?
March 2, 2017
Yes it was just red from the tissuglu , bruised and scabby:)
