Update after IPL for sun spots on legs

This is a while after IPL treatment for sun spots on my legs. As you can see nothing has changed. Then after picture I had before was not an accurate representation of how my legs looked because they were tan. Here is one with no tan.

I had IPL treatments on my legs to remove sunspots...

I had IPL treatments on my legs to remove sunspots the first week of April. Nothing changed from the knee down, but my thighs got red burns on them for at least 1 month. They have peeled off and I have permanent discoloration where the burns were. I hope these eventually fade. The spots on my thighs did eventually peel off.

Omg! Do your legs look "better" after IPL?

That’s only because they are tan in the 2nd picture. The tops looked a little better, but the bottoms had little to no change. I have since has other consultations and other plastic surgeons have told me that spots below the knee are very resistant to any treatment. One told me if he could remove them that’s all he would do every day because everyone is looking for a way to remove them. He told me IPL was not a good treatment for them so I didn’t pursue any additional treatments.
