I've always been small chested (A cup/small B), but after having children I lost the little volume I had, and after months of research and soul searching I decided I wanted a little more fullness. Once I made the decision to get breast augmentation, the hardest part was figuring out what size to choose. I feared going too big and looking unnatural (I'm 5'6, 113 lbs), or too small and left wondering why I spent the time, money and effort to go through it. Ideally, I wanted full, natural looking breasts that also fit my small frame. It was definitely a mental process for me, as much as it was a physical one. I'm six months post op and I could not be happier. I didn't think the decision to make a change in my breast size could make me feel so good. I felt confident prior to surgery, but now I really feel great! It was a big decision for me, and a very personal one, and I'm so happy I did it!

Hey! It's great to read your story! I am actually getting implants this Friday by Dr. Butler! Wahoo so excited but also a little nervous! We are confirming my sizing tomrrow. Did boobs look GREAT!! Did u get moderate plus or high profile? And what size bra are you now?

Hi! How exciting! I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this! I'm guessing by your post that you are now on the other side of surgery! I have moderate plus and in Victoria's Secret I wear a 32DD and a large bikini top. It sounds huge but I feel the size is very versatile. :) Please don't hesitate to ask me anything else along the way! Happy recovery :)

Wow you look great. Your boobs look very natural. What size did you end up with? I am one month post op still waiting for mine to soften up and move down. Loving them though

Thank you! I went with 345cc- @ Victorias Secret I wear a 32DD, which is a sister size to a 36B? I think. I wish I had done a better job taking photos early on, so I could offer more of a progression. I remember the 1 month, still a lot of changes waiting to happen, and my right side healed, dropped, and softened faster than my left, so that was stressful for awhile but it worked itself out. Glad to hear you are loving them! If you love them now @ 1 month, you'll be over the moon by 6 months. :)

Yea I have been shooting weekly pictures now I will go every two weeks. I wish mine would soften they are still too hard. My doc has me doing stetching and massaging downward. Hopefully that helps. They just don't move right with me yet since they are harder so I think once they soften then I won't feel the odd movements. I haven't been measured yet I can only wear the sport bras so I will wait as they are too high right now to get an accurate measure. I am broad chested I wore 38b pre surgery barely , broad but no boobs so not sure what I will measure I am thinking maybe a d. Trying to be patient. I have one higher than the other also but it's also the bigger implant and on my right so maybe that's why who knows.

Since mine were dropping at different rates and the right was where it needed to be, I was instructed to massage my left one downward daily and it did seem to work, either that or the left was just slow and would've gotten there eventually anyway. I would feel a difference in the softness directly following my massage and then they would get firm again, its hard to describe but that went on for me until around 5 months. Now they are completely soft and squishy and feel like a part of me. It wasn't until the last month or so that I've really been elated with my results and how I feel overall. I always liked them but now I love them and feel natural, unless I'm laying on my stomach or do something that uses my chest muscles, then I can feel the implant move, but otherwise I don't even notice they are there. You will get there!

Oh that's good to know. I have noticed that too right after I massage they feel softer and then when I sit still for a while and don't move around like watching TV they harden back up so it's good to know that will eventually pass. Your story has helped me alot thanks for the information. I will be more patient.

I'm glad I could help! I had to keep telling myself the same thing, about being patient, its logical but so hard to actually do! Happy healing! :)

I so regret not getting a moderate (plus) profile. Jealous! You look amazing
July 19, 2016
High profile. I was focusing more of the size and the diameter, didn't expect that the profile would matter that much. They just turned a year a few days ago :)

I'm sorry, I never saw this reply. Picking the size and profile was by far the hardest decision for me, even with "trying on" the implants beforehand. I think your results turned out great!

they look so full and natural on you!

Thank you! I am very pleased with them, my surgeon did a great job at giving me exactly what I was hoping for. Mine dropped @ different rates, so that was stressful in the beginning but other than that it's been a very easy recovery. I didn't start to love them though until about 5 months post op.

U look great!! I'm similar to u and torn between the textured inspires and smooth... Which did u go for??
All the best!
October 20, 2016
Hi! Thank you! I went with the smooth and I honestly can't completely remember why but I think between the textured costing more and talking it over with my PS I felt good about the smooth and I'm very happy with the results but I'm sure I could've been happy with the textured too- so basically I'm no help! :/

No, u are, thank u!!!
I'm very inclined to go with the smooth as the textured seem aggressive or something to me. All the docs over here really push the textured but my gut says smooth! Thank so much!!

A year and a half post op update
rse22August 23, 2017
I've been meaning to post an update because I found them helpful. It'll be 2 years post op this upcoming December and I still couldn't be happier. I wasn't sure if over time the excitement would fade and I would have some regrets but thankfully that hasn't happened and I haven't suffered with any complications. I'm adding a few updated photos. I'm 5'6 110lbs .
Hey there! Thanks for sharing your story with us! Congratulations on an awesome result :) Do you know the size and brand of your implants?
Thanks for sharing! Did you have a lift, or just implants?
