Dr. Ennis is amazing! His nurse, Lisa, and everyone else at Destin Plastic Surgery are super nice. They always made me feel very comfortable. (It's difficult to feel comfortable when you are standing in nothing but a thong, and people are looking at your body, but they did it!) Dr. Ennis takes his time when consulting with you so that he understands exactly what you want. He and Lisa answered all of my questions and I really felt like they listened when I spoke to them. I even had their email addresses and phone numbers and they returned my emails and calls in a timely manner. (To me this is rare in the medical field...normally everyone always seems to be in a rush and patients are just numbers.) I never felt that way with Dr. Ennis. After losing 145 pounds, I wanted a tummy tuck, breast lift, and arm lift. I also wanted lipo. Dr. Ennis told me that it was unsafe to do all of these procedures at the same time. He also told me that he never did arm lifts with tummy tucks because you have to be able to use your upper body to help lift yourself after the operation. I did not like this because (like we all do, I wanted what I wanted!) After surgery, I realized why he doesn't do them together, and was so thankful that I had such a knowledgeable caring surgeon. I would have had a longer recovery and possibly some complications from trying to use my arms if he had done what I wanted instead of what he knew to be best for me. My tummy tuck is healing very well, and my breast lift (with implants - his recommendation) look amazing. I consulted with other doctors before Dr. Ennis and I was told that my breasts would never look like I wanted them to. Dr. Ennis explained to me the difference between a just a lift, just implants, and having them both. (He has a very informative video about this on this site.) I allowed him complete freedom with my breasts. My only requests were that they were perky and that they match my build (not too large, not to small). They are amazing. I'm going to post some before and afters and you seriously will not believe it. I am returning in December for my arm lift and hopefully some lipo to finish out my body contour. I highly recommend Dr. Ennis for any of your plastic surgery needs. I drove 3.5 hours to all of my pre and post appointments and the drive was totally worth it. Dr. Ennis and Lisa, if you read this, I just want to say (again) THANK YOU for giving me my self-confidence back.
