One week post op
$7,200
It's been a week since my surgery and I have been on a roller coaster of emotions, but thanks to this site I know that is normal. A few days ago I woke up and they seemed so swollen that I was actually sick to my stomach that I had made a mistake and afraid I would hate them. Of course, the next day they seemed much more manageable. I had my post op apt and they told me I could remove my upper strap, but had to continue wearing my lower strap and my post op bras or a tight supportive sports bra. The pain has been much more bearable lately and to be honest only really bothers me in the morning. The side of my right breast and under my armpit hurts some too, but that's the one they did the most work on and it's black and blue. My right breast is also still more swollen than the left, I'm hoping they balance out. You can see in the pictures how the right one is a little bigger and the lateral side sticks out farther than the left. I also decided I will go ahead and post pictures of my incision, even if the right one is ugly, I want to help anyone else that I can. My surgeon also uses skin glue so it's still a littl bloody and not so good looking, I'm excited to have the glue wear off and see my incisions. It will be a long time before my nipple looks the same. That nipple also has no sensation yet when I touch it; however, when it gets cold it seems super sensitive.... Which is really confusing. Anyway... I'll post some more pics of myself and incisions. I have another appointment in about a week and a half, hopefully I'll make some progress by then and have less questions for them lol. Thanks for all the support ladies I really appreciate it, and if anyone has questions feel free to ask.

Post op day 2
Right now I'm post op day 2. I was able to have my shower and remove the bandages today and it's not pretty. The right breast that had the lift/reduction looks awful. It's bruised and very swollen, but mostly the nipple just looks terrible. I know that's to be expected and in a few months you won't even be able to tell... But right now it's hard to look at. I spoke with my surgeon to get a better idea of how it all went. On the right side I got a reduction and a lift and a 300cc moderate plus profile implant completely under the muscle (even though we thought we were doing high profile implants) and my incision is around the nipple. On the left I have a dual plane placement with a 325 moderate plus profile implant and the incision is under my breast. The pain has been tolerable so far. The first day I threw up 3 times so I actually went all night without pain meds on board and I was fine. Today I made sure to take it about an hour before my shower in hopes it would help. Once I took all the compression dressings off they felt so swollen! This must be what it feels like to be engorged during pregnancy... They felt like rocks. The shower went well though I was able to wash my own hair and shave and everything. They gave me a second post op bra so I was able to put that on after and the compression straps back on. I'll post some pics with the gruesome parts edited for your viewing pleasure lol. The right will drop faster since it was originally the bigger side.
