How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I am a 37 year old mother of 1 child. I am tiny by most accounts. I am 5ft 1/2 and my legs/arms/butt/hips are very small. Small as in i have bird arms and legs and like no tush. But hey, I do have big boobs so I will own that one! I have always weighed no more than 118 lbs (thats very heavy for me comfort wise, although everyone says yay you finally ate something), but I have mostly been around 105-108 as a "normal weight for me. The truth is I eat whatever I want. I am very ,lucky that way. I am thankful I haven't had to struggle with that aspect of my belly journey. Even when I was 98 lbs 2 years ago and even before I had my son 9 years ago, I ALWAYS had a stomach. I could never get rid of it no matter what I ate, how much I exercised or whatever I did to try to help myself! After about 5 years of mental debate, I am finally getting rid of this spare tire. I swear it consumes just about every aspect of my day from the time I wake up. Getting dressed in front of my husband, what I wear, how I sit, how I walk etc. Forget about a bathing suit. Don't even go there. Ladies, you know what I am talking about. It is an unwanted house guest that I loathe but I had to make peace with it because it wasn't going anywhere! Well, that's all going to change. My fat roll has been served an eviction notice. GET OUT!
I am scheduled next week for SmartLipo with an Avelar Tummy Tuck (also known as an awake tummy tuck). The sound of that scares the you know what out of me, but the Dr I have has made me feel so comfortable, that I am sure this is going to be a positive experience.
It took me years to post on this board after soooo much reading. It is hard to reach out and admit ones flaws and insecurities and just put it all out there, but the posts I have read on here have not only given me the honest information I needed to make my decision, but, you ladies have all given me hope and inspiration to keep moving forward!
If get more nerve up I will post some pictures tonight. :)
