ThermiVa for Vaginal Tightening

I had my second session in January, and it was a little different than the first. In my first review, I stated I could only feel the wand going in at the entrance to my vagina, but couldn't feel it further in. But this time I could! I think it was from my vaginal canal being tighter and more sensitive now. Also, I was getting air in my vagina at the gym. After the first Thermiva, I had a 50% reduction of air. After the second, NO air gets in at all! My husband has been raving about how tight I've been, claiming I'm tighter than I ever was-even before the four kids! (He still doesn't know I'm doing this, lol). One thing to note: I don't have a history of urine leakage, so I have no comment about whether Thermiva improves urine leakage. However, other reviews claim that it does help. I'm excited for my third Thermiva. I hope this lasts for awhile.

I just want to say that I leaked urine for two days after the procedure, something that NEVER happened to me before. I think it was because of the swelling from the procedure, because it went away in a couple days. I've been going to the gym (day 6 now,) and I think there is still a 50% reduction in air getting in my vagina during squats. We've had sex every night, and my husband said something last night he has never said before. It's a bit vulgar to write down, but basically that my vagina felt like my mouth was creating suction on him. So I'm definitely tighter. So far I'm happy, but like I've said before, some reviews say the tightness only lasts a couple weeks. So again, we shall see!

I have always felt as though my vagina should be tighter. As a teenager, my friends would complain that sex was painful because they were so tight, but I on the other hand had no issues, even if a guy was larger. So I've always wondered why I'm apparently larger than others. Boyfriends didn't complain though, and I had no issues with air in the vagina, so it didn't affect my life.
After a couple of decades and 5 children, things were loser. Then I lost a bunch of weight and noticed even more looseness. Everything on the outside looked great, and my opening seemed fine and small enough, but internally, I felt a bit cavernous. My husband is one of those guys who orgasms way too easily/quickly, so he didn't mind that sex took a bit longer. And it's not that I disliked sex being longer, but I felt as though I had NO internal stimulation, especially once we got going and I got really wet. I also started getting air in my vagina during squats at the gym, and even water in my vagina during baths.
I talked to my OBGYN, who said I looked fine and had no medical issues. She suggested kegel, which I was already doing (correctly). I tried kegel weights too, but didn't think it was a complete solution.I even researched vaginal rejuvenation surgery, which my husband said I could get. But it seemed like too many women felt as though it didn't make them much tighter, and some say it didn't work at all.
So I decided to get Thermiva. I paid for 3 sessions at $3,000 total for internal treatments only. If I get touch ups, they will be $650 each. I was hoping to get tighter. ThermiVa claims to improve tightness (which I needed,) and also bladder control, reducing pain during intercourse, and increasing lubrication (although I had no issues with the last three things.)
During the consult, the nurse didn't seem to know a lot. But when she showed me the machine and how it was doing to work, she seemed knowledgable. She has also done many of them in the past. I guess she was knowledgable about how to do the procedure, but should have learned more info about Thermiva in general.
The whole thing took 20 minutes (5 minutes per quadrant). It burned enough that I felt slight discomfort, but not enough that I felt like I was being damaged. The nurse moves the wand in and out during the procedure. The part that goes in you is about 4 inches long. I thought it was interesting that I felt like the wand was only in a couple inches, when it would actually go in four inches. I guess I'm only sensitive during the first part of my vagina.
Afterwards, I felt fine, but like I had to go to the bathroom every hour. I still feel this way now, the next day. I'm not sure why this is. I went to the gym that night and noticed a 50% reduction in getting air in the vagina during squats. I also had sex last night and orgasmed right away, which was crazy. I'm not sure if it is because I was tighter, or because I was so turned on by the fact that my vagina might feel better to my husband. As for my husband, he seemed to be having a better time than usual, but perhaps it was because of my attitude, not how I felt. I asked him afterwards if I felt tighter and he said I didn't feel as tight as I did last week, but I felt tighter than I used to. Note: Last week I used a tightening cream that really worked, but it made me dry and I didn't like putting chemicals in me. But boy did it work. I hadn't told him that I used the tightening cream. He kept saying I was tight, but didn't ask why (men are dumb like that!) And last night he didn't question why I might be tighter than I used to be.
Anyway, I'll update if things change between now and my next appointment in 4 weeks! I've heard some women say that were only tighter for a few days/weeks because of inflammation from the procedure... so we'll see!
