How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.

Wish I Had Never Done It

I started the process of Lipo with fat graft in 2022. I ate as much as I can gained the proper weight and continued my healing procedure. However by the end of the healing process (2months) most of the fat on one side is gone and half the fat from the other half got absorbed. I was told that there is a 60%-80% chance that the fat injected will be permanent and not be absorbed and 10% chance of infection. After the lumpy and squishyness. I went to get a revision after 4 months and the injection site that was lacking I got an infected wound and after 1 month I was left with a permanent scar (white patch) at the injection site. The fat hardened and lumped in one spot even though it was massaged and cared for. I am still awaiting another revision to attempt to make it symmetrical. At the end of the day you will need touch ups and revision because the fat injected won’t be perfect and will be permanently disfigured for the rest of my life and I had to live with that. I seen no change in length but .20” increase in overall girth.
