Botched Phalloplasty Procedure

I had phallopastly lengthening back around 2009 or 2010. I had retraction after the procedure from scarring. I then came back a year to Dr. Melo and had the lengthening procedure performed again, and it apparently scarred, which he was able to fix. However, he also recommended the widening procedure at the same time that is done with fat transfer. Fat transfer is considered the safest way to do a widening procedure versus the use of alloderm. The doctor did not put in drains after the second procedure and I had a lot of excessive swelling with edema and hematoma. The end result of the widening procedure was botched because Dr. Melo put in way too much fat. It looked like a water balloon being squished and the one end is what my private part looked like. I could not have sexual relations for six years. I went back to him a year later to have fat taken out. He charged me and opened me back up, but he did not do anything. There was no change whatsoever. He did not own up to his duty of care regarding medical ethics. No apologies, no accountability, ownership, and responsibility on his part. The good thing is that I was eventually able get everything looking like it was before. I found a doctor a year ago who is double board certified in Beverly Hills and is one of the best. It was a two-part surgery. The doctor who performed reconstructive surgery said specifically that way too much fat was injected. It has been a year since the second surgery and everything looks like it should. It ended up costing me $23,000 for the two procedures plus another $5000 for all other expenses to correct the huge mistake Dr. Daniel Camacho Melo made. My recommendation for anyone out there considering phallopastly is to find a doctor who is double board certified in urology and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
