After years of being self-conscious with constricted, assymetrial breasts, I finally decided to do something for myself and get them fixed. I just wanted to feel normal for the first time in my life. I trusted Dr Pelletiere after doing extensive research to find a doctor. I was very nervous. The consultation was much briefer and impersonal than I thought. I didn't get to say much in regards to what size I wanted, but I scheduled the surgery for a few months later. I went through with the surgery to fix my uneven constricted breasts. It was 6500. The surgery went fine; that wasn't a bad experience. I followed-up with the doctor a few times in the next few months and things seemed to be healing adequately. Around 6 months I noticed the double bubble I had developed in my right breast wasn't going away. I thought it looked terrible. The doctor thought it might even out over time. It did not, and also by 6 months, my right breast was much bigger than my left again. I was not happy and just as self-conscious as before. I had surgery Dec 2014. In sept 2016, I decdided to bite the bullet and get a revision. My right breast looked ridiculous, my nipples weren't the same height, the double bubble was extremely pronounced- you could see it through some of my swimsuit tops that were lighter in color. I had another consultation with Dr Pelletiere and we agreed to replace the implant in the right breast with a smaller one and that he would attempt to fix the double bubble which was indeed a result of my old constricted breast tissue causing an extra crease above the new crease. The doctor said I would need a bigger implant to fix the issue. I opted for a smaller one as I never wanted big breasts in the first place, I only wanted them symmetrical. He said he would remove skin to attempt to fix the double bubble but offered no guarantee. The price was 1500 for the new implant and "skin tightening". Total so far for fake boobs I regret= $8000. Had I known the result of so much of my hard-earned money not well spent, I never ever would have gotten breast implants done by Dr Pelletiere. The smaller implant finally evened out my chest so I am at least happy they appear to be the same size in clothing. The revision done on the right breast and how it affects me physically day to day is another story. I have to wear tight sports bras constantly as the right breast's skin has been streched and hurts and constantly pulls. It is uncomfortable to sleep in certain positions and is painful. My areola has stretched. The double bubble is still there. I have learned since that Dr Pellietiere did not do all he could to fix my double bubble, a larger implant would not have been the solution as he claimed. I will have to go through another revision and pay another 2k. I feel like a complete sucker for going to Dr Pelletiere. Need I mention that there was no follow-up or concern after my revision, just to remove stitches. It really seemed to me that the doctor did not really care what my results were whatsoever. I am not happy, I would not recommend him. There are much more caring and detail-oriented doctors out there.
