I decided to get ultherapy because of sagging skin on my neck. I went into a med spa in Pearland, TX for a consultation to see if I was a good candidate for the procedure. I spoke with the Dr's wife and I still wasn't convinced, so she called in the doctor to come look at me. He assured me that I was a good candidate. I was informed that it would take about 3 months to see the full effects.
I paid the down payment that day and had the procedure done a few days later, on July 30, 2015.
It was somewhat painful, and I had some bruising and swelling for about 5 days.
Now, 4 months later, it looks worse. I am so upset, I wished that I would have never had the procedure done.
Do not waste your money on this!!!

I wonder if down the line when there are problems, they dont just slough it off on normal aging and what not. The time lag gives them an easy out. With celebrities they tend to try and hide their procedures gone wrong, I think. Anyway, this person definatly has a more sagging neck line. Thats sad to spend alot of money and end up worse. Reading here has certainly made me not want to have it done, even if I could afford it. I don't see why there would be fake reviews unless there were competitors with different machines, but it seems like none of these machines work all that well. And you certainly dont hear alot of advertising for other machines, so I dont see why alot of fake negative r evwiews would be posted. I almost had a chance for a free treatment and im glad they decided not to give it to me. My husband would be so mad at me if I had problems and is way less trusting about the adverse effects of these machines. Sometimes what you think is bad luck is actually good luck. You just dont know it at the time. I have a bit of a double chin too.

I dont judge anyone wanting to do a beauty treatment. Its totally fair to expect a good outcome, when thats what they say it will do. I just think that these companies are going to deney and change their claims to that it MAY improve you. Its awful to make fun of anyone's appearance for any reason, and the people who do that are ugly inside where it counts. You cannot trust the FDA apparently.

My aestetician recently went to ultherapy convention, the company still claims that they've had absolutely no bad results. They also said that all these people are posting false negative claims on realself and it is hurting their business. My aestetician bought it hook, line and sinker unfortunately.
I did ultherapy twice in the past and saw little to no difference whatsoever, but then i didn't really need it except for maintenance. However, after reading these reviews and seeing all the before and afters, I will NEVER do it again.
Thank you for posting your pics, if you haven't already I would demand a refund to put toward helping to fix the damage this treatment has done.
I am so very sorry to you and all the other women negatively affected by this machine and I sincerely hope you are able to find resolution!

How can they say that there are no bad results when several people on this site have contacted them because of the bad results? Maybe they should listen and contact the people on realself and others? Try to offer a solution or help? That they will say such a thing makes me think that there is a possibility that they have people posting fake positive results. So in reality the real percentage of positive results should is much lower!? How many more women are going to ruin their faces? There are too many women having bad results. You can see my pictures. I am one of the unlucky ones.

I agree. I had a discussion with a rep for Infini about this very point. When I told him what the ultherapy company said he replied "That's bullsh*t." He's been in the industry for many, many years and has tried all manner of machines. In fact when I mentioned his comment to my aesthetician (who knows him) she had no reply.
Since many do get a good result with it and mine was fine albeit quite subtle, I would have no problem with this company if they were honest about the fact that there are possible lasting side effects. The fact that they lie about this makes my head spin.

My aesthetician thinks this is an unreputable site and people with vendettas are posting fake pics. o_0

Vendetta with whom? Who would have a vendetta about a product or machine if not only people who truly had bad results? This site I think was created for people to post their exoeriences for others to be informed and make the best decision. I had never posted on this site before but I wish I would have read, gotten informed and asked questions. Like a dummy I went and had Ulthetapy without checking what othets had to say. And now I am damaged. Of course ultherapy is going to say that the posts are fake. Same with doctors who spent all kinds of money on the machine. There are also doctors out there that confirm that in fact the machine can create fat loss. It is a fact. Doctors have posted that they get oeople in their offices that been damaged. Not only uktherapy but others too.
I am real and have been in contact the last minth with other ladies that have posted here. They are real people. I have seen pictures. They are damaged.

Agreed 100%. It's just a matter of time before it happens to a celebrity. THAT would open the door to exposing the truth about this machine and all the horror stories.

I bet celebrities dont fry their faces like I did. They have money so they probably have it at a low setting often. I got mine at the highest. It hurt like hell. I swelled up.
December 5, 2015
But you don't pay for ultherapy by the setting so i don't see how money would make a difference. I think different people just respond differently- it appears to be unpredictable from what I can tell.

They charge for the number of lines. Not the setting. What I am saying is that they probably do it as a maintenance thing. A few lines here and there and at a lower setting to not swell. But often. I am sure there is no bad reactions that way. I got a deal for the entire face. 900 lines I think it was and at the highest setting. It was sooooooo painful!!! I assume the more pain, the more damage. That is why it hurt.
Anyway, just a thought. :)

I was swollen for a few hours and had no downtime. I'm not sure what the setting wasn't be honest but it definitely hurt like hell.
Honestly if i was a doctor there is no way i would take the chance on using that machine. As more and more docs see people for corrective work after ultherapy word will eventually get around. Can't hide facts forever!

if you read the wording and the use of language on some of the "positive" posts, they are a script in my opinion. My advice is research the doctor and the procedure by looking online, looking and talking with at least 4 !! doctors before doing anything.

I wish there was a doctor's reply to your post. It's strange indeed. It looks as if your skin was stretched or that you lost weight. Your nasolobial folds look different too, but you did not mention if you had Ultherapy done around your the mouth.
I'm not a pro but from what I see a neck lift or face lift (nasolobial folds) would be the answer. Don't be dissapointed yet, Ultherapy and Thermage are not invasive and to see the results you need to be 30ish. After 40 I'm afraid it all comes down to surgeries. Gravity is hard to beat with "waves".

We are looking for options trying to repair the damage.
Good kuck to you!
