All done

Hi everyone,

So I technically finished my course a couple of weeks ago. I'm now just waiting for my retainers to arrive, and then I'll be getting these bloody attachments off at last! I decided against refinements in the end. I had invisalign lite, where refinements aren't included in the cost. I am happy with the result, particularly when compared to how they looked at the start! I probably could have gone a bit further and got them super straight, but where they are at now I'm please with. I can't wait to get them all cleaned and whitened up! I'm also now desperate to get my metal filling changed to a white one (visible in pic). Does anyone know if it's possible to have metal ones changed to white? I'm sure my dentist would have something to say about it! But when I've got to this much effort to get them where they are I'd like them to look as good as possible!

Number 9!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update. Nothing new to report really, things seem to have been going well so far. I had another load of filing at stage 7. I think that has to be one of the most unpleasant parts of this process but thankfully it's few and far between! My orthodontist has said the teeth are tracking well, but he does think I may need to have refinements. But we will see! I can't believe how quickly time is passing, my only regret is not starting it sooner. I've attached a couple of update piccies, comparing my teeth at the start and now :)

2 months down

Hi everyone,

So last Saturday marked 8 weeks since I started on my invisalign journey. It has been great so far, I've really settled into the process and can't belive how quick the time is going! Not really much else to say other than I'm really looking forward to the rest of the process and hopefully seeing some serious results. I've added a picture above of my main problem area which is my snaggle tooth at the front, with a side by side from day one till now, and I think I can see a slight change. At least that's what I'm telling myself anyway! (Now on the left, before on the right)
