WORTH IT
Weight gained from menopause finally leveled out, leaving me with breasts that were previously a C cup to a DD+ cup. My shoulders, neck and back suffered and had to sleep with a pillow between my breasts to be somewhat comfortable. My primary care & Dr. Wages monitored size to make sure there were no changes in size for a couple of years before proceeding with reduction. Procedure went great, recovery a bit rough, but at week 5 I'm almost back to normal.

Well it's been about 5 months after procedure and I am so happy with the result. I am a perfect C cup (my goal). The skin underneath (dog ears) hasn't totally flattened out, but after my follow up visit with Dr. Wages the other day, we are going to wait until end of summer to see if there's improvement and if not flat, he will take care of in office with minor procedure.
Was definitely worth it! Yeah there was discomfort and pain, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Dr. Wages and his staff have taken very good care of me and I wouldn't trust anyone else for any procedures in the future. As a matter of fact, for my 53rd birthday and am treating myself to a bit of Botox & filler, can't wait to try it out.

Botox & Juvederm Experience
Well I did (or I should say, Dr. Wages did it), Botox in forehead between eyebrow area, that was nothing just a couple of small pricks, and the deep creases are just about gone. Then came the Juvederm, filled my deep smile lines, upper & lower lips. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, it is a bit uncomfortable, minor pain but just for seconds, bearable, very strange sensation. I do have a bruise on one side (injection site) that is finally disappearing. Dr. Wages was very careful not to overdue either filler, which is awesome, I want to look natural, not blown up. I have a follow up in 2 weeks and I think a bit more in smile lines and definitely bottom lip should do the trick. So far, I am very happy with results, just a bit of fine tuning.
Hoping someday to have the bags under eyes and eyelids taken care of, filler won't do it though. Dr. Wages suggested surgery. Oh yeah, and my every thick middle (tummy & love handles) yuck! Someday maybe that will be taken care of too. The list just gets larger as I get older, LOL!
Have a great day/evening and good luck with any procedures you are undergoing.
I will update after my next appt., maybe even try to post pix.

Congratulations on your results!! Menopause is a body killer, not fun but once you get through it all is well.
