PDO thread lift for sagging neck - gave me back my jawline

First experience with PDO threads after reading many differing views.

[First time posting here too - felt I needed to give back after finding it such a brilliant source of reality (thanks folks!) vs the biased best-of images and marketing hype from cosmetic providers.]

WHY PDO: Nurse Julie recommended it to me when I told her I wanted something to correct the crepey skin when I turn my head.

AREA TREATED: Under chin - 50 PDO threads.

PAIN LEVEL: initial pin-pricks of the local anaesthetic feel the same as botox injections and I was wincing at the thought of 50 threads being pushed into my skin ...but felt no pain at all - just the feel of movement under my skin. I had the treatment 4 hours ago and took painkillers when I got home just in case, but still not feeling any pain or discomfort. Can move my head freely with just a subtle tightened feel to it.

TREATMENT TIME: less than 15 minutes - pushed in and shaft covers removed very quickly!

RESULT: Instantly gave me back my jawline on the side profile. I didn't have the core of my neck done, so there's no difference from the front profile, but I'd definitely consider having that done too (if Julie recommends it - she was great at saying no to other ideas I had, which I really appreciated given the 'done' look isn't my thing).

Keen to see what happens if anything, over time.

Overall: very subtle.
Recommend? Not if you're looking for a dramatic change. If like me, you prefer subtle changes that in combination create a natural younger appearance, then yes.

Note: I was told at the treatment (and by another nurse) that threads take up to 6 months to take effect.

PHOTOS: I've tried to take the photos in exactly the same camera position for both (it is very easy to make it look significantly better if I hold the camera slightly higher -- so be careful when reviewing other before/afters and make sure the angle is exactly the same!)
