PDO Thread Lift to treat jowling and sagging of my lower face

3 weeks out not happy
$3,000
This was not worth it. I am a little over 3 weeks out and the shape of my cheeks seems to have permanently changed. I look swollen 24/7 and have that look of “work done.” This is upsetting because the threads were meant to treat my lower face, and I was told they would not add any volume. I can’t imagine that I’m still swollen but maybe? In any case, my lower face results are barely noticeable and if I could go back in time I would not do this treatment.

PDO Thread Lift
I received 14 PDO threads; 7 threads per side. This was to treat jowling and sagging of my lower face. For reference, I am 30 yrs old.
I do not feel that I was made aware of how intense this procedure truly is. On Instagram and even at the treatment office, it is made out to be a minimally invasive light procedure with minimal to no pain or downtime.
Let me tell you right now - this was 10x worse than my BBL and BA recovery! The pain during the procedure was a 9/10 and the pain during recovery was 15/10 in my experience. It is INTENSE. Over the counter pain reliever did absolutely nothing for me, and I couldn't sleep the first 2 or 3 nights. You can only eat liquids for the first few days because you won't be able to open your mouth to chew. I could barely talk or smile for a couple days.
I can see a slight difference immediately after the procedure, but my swelling is so intense that it's hard to tell. My cheeks swelled up like chipmunks and haven't gone down yet (im on day 3.)
I will post my results soon.
