Threads Touch-Up Today

Hi RS Sisters, I went in for a thread refresh. Three threads at left cheek area and two on right cheek area. I’m thrilled with the results - instant youth! I took pics before and during but sadly the files are being rejected as too large to post. But the selfies posted today were taken ON MY DRIVE HOME from my threads procedure. As in, immediately after! I lucked out - no swelling, no bruising. I was told to wait 9 months before another thread refresh; hopefully this will last that long.

What is a thread refresh? Are they doing something to the existing threads or are you getting all new ones put in?

But the thing is, she has to keep doing it over and over because her skin doesn't have what it takes to stay younger naturally. That can get super expensive! And yes, I know women her age and older who stay young naturally. Mostly, women of color though.
Scar tissue too. Skin in that area will fatigue. I did threads DID NOT LAST. Posted my receipt from snatched Beverly Hills where they specialize in pdo threads. Most surgeons warn and discourage. I spent $ to get threads removed. I would not want attention for getting threads way too damaging
Thank you for warning. I heard many getting nerve damage as well. There are better tightning procedures that makes you look less like the movie "the mask"
Thank you for the great review but I have always thought that thread lifts are for women up to 45 as their skin has more collagen so the results are better.

Thread refresh!

Hi RealSelf Sisters - About a month ago I did a “refresh” by adding two more threads - one in back of each ear - to tighten up my neck. So far my family and friends don’t seem to have noticed, but I can tell the difference and am very pleased with the result. Posted a few updated pics.

Yes, I had a lip lift but no, not my eyes - both of my sisters and I have always had large eyes. My dad, too, come to think of it…
By the way you look fabulous. I'm with you when it goes to getting treatments. Like Dolly says : if it's sagging or draggin get it nipped or tucked!

@annefrance asked me to post a photo pre-facelift and pre-threadlift. The first is “Before” taken many years ago; the second is “After” and was taken a few months ago. While your criticism could have been worded more tactfully, everyone is entitled to their opinion. The important thing is I’m happy with the way I look and my husband thinks I look hot! lol

Dr. Natalya Borakowski in Scottsdale did my “refresh”; my original thread lift was with aesthetician Anne Kincaid at Dr. Shapiro’s Skin Klinic, also in Scottsdale. Both are excellent. Anne is hard to get an appointment with these days; the wait time for me wasn’t as long with Dr. Natalya.

I think you are a lovely woman from beginning through today!! And yes I would say many 60 year olds would love to look like you. :) Keep it up. It is not about what other people think, but mostly what "we" think. If I look good then I feel good and that is all that matters... as then I have happiness for all.
