I am an American Muslim woman with parents from Middle East. I lost my virginity at 17. My family is very religious. My Family expects me to be a virgin when I get married. I am to be married soon and my future husband expects me to bleed on our first night. My parents know but my future husband does not know about my lost virginity. So we had a family discussion and I decided to do a hymen repair. I was recommend Dr. Patel by a girl who had seen him for hymen repair and was very happy with her experience. Dr. Patel and his staff were absolutely great. They did not pass any judgement and were able to understand the importance of my situation. Dr. Patel explained the whole procedure and recovery in detail. He handled this very delicate situation in great way with my parents being there and all . My surgery was done in office and it went fine. It was a lot easier than I had anticipated it. I am 9 months out and very happy with my results.
