I have had previous Medlite c6 laser treatments and they so so slightly change.

After 1 treatment in Dr. Michael Schwartz's office in Pasadena, I notice a significant difference. My photographer is lousy, but I'm happy that I see so much change!

Waiting in the office for my 2nd Picosure treatment!!

The double picture is before Picosure treatment and bottom is the 5 weeks after. The larger one by itself is day right after 1st laser treatment.

Well done Dr. Swartz!

Very impressive fading after only one pico treatment. Good luck and keep us posted in your progress

nice! The fading is clear. The big picture is 1 day after the 1st picosure or Medlite? The day after pic. doesn't look too painful- no swelling, redness, blisters etc. If it's the picosure, I wonder if it's on full blast. Also, did you have your whole tattoo/back treated in one session? Congratulations on your progress and thanks for the review!

The big picture is after the 1st treatment of Picosure. I just got my 2nd treatment on Monday with Dr. Swartz. I do have some blisters this time. I will post some pics. Picosure was running at 3.5 which is not the highest.

The progress is amazing and this new machine is amazing at removing tattoos. I'm in the same boat as you with a full sleeve koi fish covering most of my arm with red flowers, black and yellow. The koi is orange like yours. Do you know will the laser get rid of the orange colors better than the other lasers? Congrats and your progress is amazing. Kind regards Mike from Toronto

Thanks Mike, technically with research, the Pico is not made for reds, I'm sure orange is in that family. However, I have not seen complimenting results AT ALL with the other lasers. So on my next treatment, I will have him move down to the Koi :/ I would love to get back to you, but I may forget to respond to everyone. So follow this post and I will be updating after every treatment with the different areas I start with the Pico.

Sweet! You can definitely see the fading clearly in the green after the one picosure! Was the entire tattoo treated with picosure?

Thanks! I only did half my back for the test spot. When I go for my next appointment I will be doing everything.

Yes I did. I will post new pictures after it has healed. To show you the fading. I must say PicoSure has given me the hope I lost after so many of the other treatments. So much time and pain wasted!! This is so worth it.

I'm getting treated at this facility too! I'm grateful for Dr. Schwartz and his staff. I had my first treatment with the Pico also set at 3.5 and already the blue is gone! I can't wait to see more results as time moves forward. I have a lot of red ink-any suggestions?

Dr. Scwartz is amazing. He cares so much about his patients. I did do some test spots on my red and they have faded. It may be slower but good news in the blue! Stick with it and you will be so happy :)

I had a bit of blistering in a few areas this time, great reaction on the skin in the areas. Tenderness subsided after 4th day.

Nice fading :) pico really is effective for blue and green.. i was treated at 3.25. What is the highest?

I'm not exactly sure. The lower the number, the stronger the laser. We did have that discussion while I was there. He had treated his son at 3.0 I will find out next time.
November 11, 2013
Just curious, are you having the whole tattoo lasered all at once of just certain areas until they clear, and then moving to other areas? Thanks!!

Normally I do everything at one time. Since this was a test with Picosure, I was only doing 2 treatments of half the back. I prefer to do everything at one time to get it over with. And heal all at once.
November 11, 2013
When are you going back for your next appointment? I'm anxious to see how it turns out. Hopefully the picosure hits the orange in the koi better than the other lasers. :)
November 11, 2013
Oh I for to ask, have you had any success removing the koi on your back with any of the lasers? :)

It would be about 6 weeks. Fighting with the work schedule :( and with the question below, I have seen mild fading, nothing impressive. But I will have him work on it next time. I was thinking about doing a video. We'll see.

Thanks for updating :) How was the pain level between 1-10?

Hi Eva, during the procedure is about 3-8. Just depends on the area. Some areas I don't even feel, some is excruciating. But I just looked at some of the scanning that just came off, it's fading really nice. Worth all the pain!

Yes. Pretty much so. The rest is color.
