As many others who had this procedure have said, I should have had this done years ago. The final straw for me was when my breasts made it difficult for me to exercise vigorously. I was also tired of wardrobe limitations. For me, the hardest part of recovery has been sleeping on my back. From reading the forums, women seem to have varying levels of pain; mine was hard for a couple of days and beyond that discomfort, which I still have, but I'm only two weeks post op. I'm still trying a lot of different post op bras. Whether or not one is comfortable seems to depend on the day. And it helps to switch during the day. in addition to sport and post op bras, I got some nursing bras...they are very soft.

My experience with Dr. Taylor has been completely positive and life-changing. I am only 2 weeks post op, but already my back and shoulder pain is gone. My breasts are still swollen and healing, but I am very pleased with the size....much reduced but I still look like a curvy woman. I told him I hoped for a modest size C, and I'm on track for that. Painful the first couple of days, but thereafter I would describe it more as discomfort and tender. I did not lose nipple sensitivity. Dr. Taylor has been completely professional and caring throughout. He treats me with honesty and respect. Beyond his skill as a surgeon, it is clear that he has the eye of an artist, as evidenced by the beautiful photos he has taken that are displayed in the office. The office is well-run, organized and friendly. Gina and Sue are obviously happy working with him and are a pleasure.
