6 months post op

WORTH IT$9,500
I had my 6 month follow up appointment with Dr Lim the other week so now we are done. No more appointments unless I have a problem at any stage.
He has advised me to do a self breast exam every month and that I will need to get a breast ultrasound every 2 years to check for any ruptures or problems with my implants. Makes sense to me :)
He also advised me to ensure that I always put sun cream on my incisions when I'm spending time outdoors because the UV can darken the scaring.
I'm still so happy with my beasts. They are still softening up and I'll be interested to see how they are in another 6 months.
I'm heading to the beach tomorrow for the first time since my surgery!!! So excited to introduce my new girls to the world for the first time! Haha ;)

4 months, 1 week post op...

Everything I was worried about has completely settled.
I'm back at the gym but still taking it a little easy on the weights when it comes to chest and still avoiding anything above my shoulders but will start getting back into that pretty soon.

I absolutely LOOOOOOOOVE my boobs :) They are still softening more which is great, my scars healed well and are fading more and more. All in all I'm completely stoked!
I have my follow up appointment with my surgeon in a few months so I'll try and give you another update then :)
I would 100% recommend Dr Lim to anyone and everyone. Definitely worth travelling to Sydney for :)

6 weeks post surgery!

Tomorrow I'll be 6 weeks post surgery! I'm beyond excited to be able to get back to the gym - I think that would have to be the one thing I miss the most.

The sensitivity in my breasts has gone now and my nipple sensitivity has returned completely to normal.

I started wearing underwire bras again on the weekend (5.5 weeks post surgery), I tried to start wearing them right on 4 weeks post surgery but still found it uncomfy so just decided to wait a bit longer.

My incisions are healing well - they are still pretty red and dark but they are smooth & improving every day! (pic attached)

My breasts are continuing to soften and so far I feel like I'm healing normally!

The only negative thing I'm experiencing at the moment is that I've been having a 'funny feeling' in my right breast near my incision (on the inside) - its hard to explain but it feels like the implant is rubbing on my sutures if I bend over and stand back up. It doesn't particularly hurt, but it does feel odd and kinda yucky. I feel like I need to hold my breast when I bend over :-/
I went to see my surgeon about it a a week and a half ago and he advised that they were looking and healing fine - they still look/feel normal, there has been no change to the shape of the breast, and that this can just be part of the healing process and to give it time. Its been a little bit of time now and I still have the feeling, but I'll continue to be patient :)

My next post op appointment isn't until October - by them I'm hoping I'll be all healed up with no more weird feeling in the right breast!

I'm still SO happy with the way i'm progressing, I know at times I can be impatient and I need to keep a check on myself in that regard. I'll update again in a few weeks to let you know how I'm progressing!

P.s. Sorry for the dodgy pics - the lighting in my bedroom is terrible!
