My armpits are still sore. Only this week am I able to drive with little discomfort. I still can't sleep on my sides cause my sides are tender. I'll be going back to work next week.how people go back to work after a week is just unbelievable, maybe I'm just a big baby.

Thank you for sharing your journey. I have an appointment with Dr Ndobe next week. I was to go from a 38E to a C cup. The shoulder and back pain has become unbearable.
I am nervous but determined. How long did it take you to do a full recovery? Which hospital did you opt for?

Hi.... this will be the best thing you ever do for yourself. I can tell you I hardly ever have back pain. I Opted for Folateng ( the. Private section of Charlotte Maxeke hospital) I was so nervous because of all the stories I’ve read in public hospitals, but let me tell you the care I got was out of this world. Full recovery can take up to a year. But if you are asking how long it takes till you are functional again? It took me a month. They say two weeks you can go back to work but I just could not put myself through that. Driving took me about 2 and a half weeks.
Thank you Lerato. I had my son at the Folateng ward in PTA east and was impressed with their service so i am also opting for Folateng at Charlotte Maxeke this time around.

Hey Lerato.. so i finally went for my first appointment with Dr Ndobe. I was very impressed with him and was ready to get this done asap but sadly ive been let down by his admin department. A month later cant get a quote or make a booking for the op. I keep getting the run around so im back to square one looking for another plastic surgeon. Hopefully this time around i will be lucky.

Went for my 3 weeks post op today. Doctor says everything is healing nicely. I've been cleared to take a bath (yay) I missed my baths ???? so much.will see him again in a month

2 weeks and 1 day post op
So yesterday was exactly 2 weeks post op. Recovery is going slower than I expected and that is really fustrating. The incisions look ok and seem to be healing nicely. But the pain and uncomfortableness and tiredness gosh. Other than that all is well
