Two years ago, I was placed on a medication...

Two years ago, I was placed on a medication (seroquel) that made me gain 20 pounds, mostly all in my belly. It was distressing and nothing I did would make a difference.

I made an appointment with Dr. Parker to initially talk only about liposuction. I was interested in doing my stomach, hips and thighs. I was impressed from the beginning at how HONEST Dr. Parker was with me. He let me know that i'd see a result in my belly and hips, but that I would not really see too much of a result in my thighs and I would be wasting my money. I appreciated him being that straightforward and not just trying to sell my into anything i'd be wiling to sign up for. There was no hype and no over promising. I think that's what really sealed the deal that I would work with Dr. Parker. He was down-to-earth, caring and realistic.

After I booked my date, they even gave me the private cell phone number of his wife, who is also the head nurse there, so that I could call/text day or night with any questions or issues as I went through the surgery process. I did end up texting her once or twice and she got back to me immediately. SO much easier than trying to track down a doctor after hours!

I went ahead with the lipo of the belly and hips only in Nov. of 2015. The procedure itself was a breeze. Dr. Parker has a rapid recovery protocol he uses in the office...at my checkup on day 3 I had almost no bruising and the swelling was manageable. He also has his own state of the art surgical center in Paramus, which I loved because everything was kept super private and I didn't need to go into a hospital.

The only issue that I did have was a weird dent under my belly button that I noticed the first day after I took of my garment. Dr. Parker even showed it to his colleagues... while dents and bumps are common after lipo, the way my fat responded was NOT a common occurrence from what I understand. However, from the beginning Dr. Parker and nurse Angela were SO KIND and assured me that if it did not resolve, they would go back in with a fat graft and fix it-- no questions asked.

I waited a year to let the tissue soften and then booked my revision.

At the same time, I knew that I have always wanted breast implants...literally since high school but have been too scared to do it. I told my hubby that I would always regret going under anesthesia one more time without having them done...so I worked with Dr. Parker's team on selecting implants as well.

Liz (the digital queen) was SO incredibly helpful with sizing. I wasn't sure what to choose and she just had a total knack for what I'd be able to carry with my body type and then showed me digitally how it would look-- which turned out to look almost identical to what I ended up with. The process they have is so comforting and reassuring that you are making the right choice! We decided on 375 cc's under the muscle-- Mentor Memory Gel.

Round 2 of surgery was on 11/25/16. I woke up and my belly looked awesome and my new breasts did too! Again, thanks to Dr. Parker's rapid recovery program he has, I had virtually no bruising and only took my pain pills for two days. I was really shocked at how easy the recovery was for having two different procedures at once. Even the massage therapist that did my lymphatic drainage massages and works with medspas all over the area could not believe the lack of bruising I had (and I am very fair skinned and bruise really quickly).

I just had my 3 week post op yesterday. Everything is healing nicely. My belly is still swelling on and off though, which you can see in the pictures still.

As far as the breasts, I am 5'5 and started with a 34 b. I got measured at Victoria Secret two weeks ago at a 36D. She did tell me that after they "dropped and fluffed" there is a chance I'd be a DD b/c i'm right on the cusp. My left is definitely dropping quicker than the right...and Dr. Parker did say the muscle would still relax and the projection would continue to improve. So we shall see.

As far as Dr. Parker and his team...you will never meet a more HONEST, humble and genuine group of people. And they are all VERY good at what they do. True professionals and artists. I came back every few months for a whole year to watch my progress. They NEVER treated me like a burden, never rushed me and always thoroughly answered my questions.

I drove all the way from the Philly-area to work with him. If you live in the greater NYC area, he is SO worth booking a consultation with. I'm very pleased with the entire experience.

D & F fairy is real :)

Not a super clear pic (lighting is weird) but wanted to give a quick update. D & F is happening. Such a fun thing. Definitely getting rounder and fuller at the 2.5 month mark. Started at a 34 b, measuring now on cusp of 36 d/dd. I don't know why I didn't do this as soon as I turned 18! I was so afraid to take the plunge for so long. I wish I always had them!
