So I had my first BA in 1999 with the dreaded PIP implants done by Transform in Manchester, uk. I was a 34AA before this and always wanted bigger boobs like my friends! Initially I loved them but soon they became painful and looked rippled. This was worse after having a baby and breastfeeding. Lumps appeared soon after and I had silicone in my lymph nodes from a leaking implant on the right. I had the awful things removed and they were both ruptured and in a terrible state. I wanted them out and not replaced but my surgeon warned me of a terrible cosmetic result and I was convinced to have them replaced which I did in 2013. I had mentor 300cc implants replaced over the muscle as before. This went well and I had a quick recovery. Since then I have had another child- tries to breast feed but struggled with engorgement and a difficult latch due to the abnormal breast shape I had. I wondered why the hell I had more implants: I have since decided to get them out completely. I hate the way they look- too much upper breast fullness, rippled and scar tissue around them. I am booked for explant with casulectomy in 6 days time. I can't wait.
My surgeon is going to do some internal plication sutures to help prevent the skin sagging. Something I haven't heard of on here. He is an experienced plastic and oncoplastic surgeon who I have complete faith in. I will upload some pics

Me too! Let's stay in touch and share notes!? :)
I had an appt last week in London but he didn't want to do capsulectomy and wasn't very helpful. Continuing the search...

I can recommend a very good surgeon who operates in Kent. She is an oncoplastic reconstructive surgeon called Miss Karina Cox. Not sure if that's the right side of London for you. I am up in Nottingham now but would def have gone to her if still in the south x

Sending positive thoughts your way! You are going to look and feel great! I just had mine out for good after 30 years of implants. I am so glad my PS did not try to talk me into more implants, I think that happens a lot. You are smart to have them out sooner rather than later. Your little one is going to be so happy to cuddle up to soft, warm, natural boobies! XOXO

Thank you daylily77! Can't believe it's tomorrow. Just going to bed now- the last night wth these horrible things that I have grown to hate! Bring on the small boobies again! Can't wait for it all to be done and to recover xx
